Brothers has collected around Rs 21.43 crore on Day 2 at the domestic box office. The film has done outstanding business at most centres, but the growth has come because Saturday was a National Holiday and one of the best days for film business.
The hold on Sunday will be very important for Brothers. If business is at around the 20 crore mark, the trend would suggest that the film will do well during the weekdays too.
The second day business of Brothers is the highest single day for a film starring Akshay Kumar in the lead. It’s also the only non-Salman Khan film this year to do business of 20 crore or more on a single day.
Brothers has collected Rs 36.63 crore in 2 days at the box office and the film is on course for a huge 55 crore plus weekend.

if u cant hit 25 cr plus on national holiday nd that too backed up by sunday as next day, u should leave the claim on holiday releases captured by khans..

Regarding jthj vs SOS, yes sos has beaten jthj in domestic as it was a moral victory for Ajay as he compete successfully with SrK-yrf, the 12 cr difference is not much when one film enjoying 700-800 more screens advantage and multiplex audience e advantage while SOS relied on single screens more.
