Aamir Khan’s Dangal is all set to complete one month at the box office tomorrow and the film is still recording excellent collections – even though films that have released after the Nitesh Tiwari directed film have crashed within a week of release.
Dangal has crossed the 375 crore mark at the domestic box office, becoming the first film ever to do so. It should cross the 380 crore mark by the end of its 5th weekend, but will struggle to get shows after the release of Raees and Kaabil.
The film should finish with lifetime collections of around the 382 crore mark, which will make it the film to beat for all 2017 releases – especially those that arrive during the Eid and Christmas weekends.
The first Hindi release of 2017, Ok Jaanu, has crashed on its 2nd Friday. The film will finish with lifetime business of 21 crore. Flop.

Dangal will still get 250-300 screens in the next week. It will run for 10 weeks more at many places in North India. Lifetime might be close to 390 crores.

?FACT?There is no need to be GOOD FILM to cross 200 Cr or 300 Cr when a Film is releasing on EDX holidays because EDX is like 7 Khoon Maaf. To cross margin like 500 Cr, needs something extraordinary even on EDX holidays (Fact validation:- all films release during 2014-2017).
