Aamir Khan’s Dangal is all set to complete one month at the box office tomorrow and the film is still recording excellent collections – even though films that have released after the Nitesh Tiwari directed film have crashed within a week of release.
Dangal has crossed the 375 crore mark at the domestic box office, becoming the first film ever to do so. It should cross the 380 crore mark by the end of its 5th weekend, but will struggle to get shows after the release of Raees and Kaabil.
The film should finish with lifetime collections of around the 382 crore mark, which will make it the film to beat for all 2017 releases – especially those that arrive during the Eid and Christmas weekends.
The first Hindi release of 2017, Ok Jaanu, has crashed on its 2nd Friday. The film will finish with lifetime business of 21 crore. Flop.

Script Sense too plays pivotal role.I can say nobody has a script sense and can do hardwork like Aamir Khan.I mean the thinking capacity of Him beyond the script is probably best in bollywood,because no actors/superstars have got that vision to look a film beyond just a script.Mr.perfectionist for a reason.

With Dangal Aamir achieved what a movie of the caliber of him should achieve. Right from opening weekend to lifetime collection, it is achieved every big milestone of this decade or so. The best achievement is crossing of BB footfalls and that too by a fair margin if we consider Tamil & telugu version. So he achieved all by miles.

And Tubelight has no chance coz even with Best ever WOM it will collect 350-370 crs (BB was better than PK but still fell short of PK coz of less ticket price than PK and had less Holidays than PK. So I think only Aamir can or will break Dangal’s record with Huge Margin with Good script but only on Christmas or he has no chance too, Coz he will not be able to get more holidays and tickets can’t be hiked much on other periods. Thugs of Hindostan will fail to collect 350 crs even with Good WOM……
