Still a month to go for new year, but we have our predictions for the Bollywood Awards 2010. The year, even if the remaining two releases – 3 Idiots and Rocket Singh – turn out to be blockbuster, has been pretty poor for Bollywood. With just 4 clean hits, the choices are few and the awards are likely to be very predictable.

- Best Actor – Amitabh Bachchan (Paa)
- Best Actress – Priyanka Chopra (Kaminey)
- Best Music – Kaminey or Love Aaj Kal
- Best Playback Singer (Male) – Atif Aslam (Tera Hone Laga Hoon Main – Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani)
- Best Playback Singer (Female) – Sunidhi Chauhan (Mere Sang – New York)
- Best Supporting Actor (Male) – Neil Nitin Mukesh (New York)
- Best Supporting Actress (Female) – Vidya Balan (Paa)
If Rocket Singh – Salesman of the year turns out to be exceptionally good, it stands a good chance to win Best Film and Best Director awards.

The self-effacing AR Murugadoss, who directed Aamir Khan in Ghajini, has now been signed on to direct Salman Khan in producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s next action-romance Kick, a remake of the 2009 Telugu film directed by Surender Reddy, starring Ravi Teja.
What comes as a surprise is that Deepika Padukone, who has till now been close to the Shah Rukh-Farah Khan-Karan Johar group, will star opposite Salman in the film.
Although Deepika has just wrapped up Houseful with Sajid Nadiadwala, he was hesitant when he approached her for Kick wondering if she would have any reservations about working with Salman. According to reliable sources, Deepika made it very clear to Nadiadwala that she is open to working with every actor.
Nadiadwala doesn’t deny the presence of Murugadoss and Deepika in the Hindi remake of Kick. “Murugadoss I’ve met and Deepika of course is already my leading lady in Houseful. I loved Murugadoss’s work in Ghajini and so did Salman. We were very clear about not getting the original Telugu director as I don’t believe in letting the South Indian directors do the Hindi remakes,” he says.
The challenge now is to make Salman’s action sequences in Kick different not only from Ghajini but also Wanted. Nadiadwala says, “I don’t want Kick to look like Wanted 2. We’ll be shooting the action scenes in Tokyo.”
Salman will be doing a lot of martial arts and kick-boxing in Kick and Murugadoss wants to make sure the action quotient in his next film is on par with the action sequences in Ghajini.
Sajid has roped in the Munnabhai writer Abhijat Joshi to script the Hindi adaptation of Kick. “He lives in the US but is expected to be in India during the release of 3 Idiots (co-written by him). That’s when we will lock in on the script,” adds Nadiadwala. SOURCE:Timesofindia

Action replay:
Unlike numerous Akshay Kumar starrers that wrap up in a jiffy and see a quick release (case in point being recent arrival DE DANA DAN or KHATTA MEETHA which is almost ready), ACTION REPLAY is taking a while to reach the finishing mark. Due to it’s theme that requires the characters to traverse between 1975 and the current times, there are bound to be longer and more spread out shooting schedules.
“We have one schedule left which should most likely get completed January next year. We will assess the situation then and take the final call. If the market isn’t good then, I will move ACTION REPLAY from April”, says Vipul in a candid tone.
ACTION REPLAY also stars veteran Randhir Kapoor in an important role along with Ranvijay Singh, a popular VJ who was last seen in Vipul’s own LONDON DREAMS. Pritam has composed the music for the film which is touted to be a neat family entertainer instead of being an action flick, something that the title otherwise conveys.

u know why vipul shah deleyed Action Replay ???
because of IPL which is starting 12 march and finish 25 april.
housefull gonna release 30 april. and when none of any big movie will release for more then 6 weeks then u can see the crase of people when akki’s movie will come after a long break.
so hopefully action replay will be in late may or starting of june.
IPL 2010 will start on 12 March 2010 and ends on 25 April 2010 and maybe next year there can be two IPL seasons, one in India and other in a foreign country. It is expected that may be two more teams will be joining this exciting tournament next year. This will directly result in increased number of matches and entertainment for the viewers. This post will be updated as soon as the schedule of IPL 2010 is announced.
