Still a month to go for new year, but we have our predictions for the Bollywood Awards 2010. The year, even if the remaining two releases – 3 Idiots and Rocket Singh – turn out to be blockbuster, has been pretty poor for Bollywood. With just 4 clean hits, the choices are few and the awards are likely to be very predictable.

If Rocket Singh – Salesman of the year turns out to be exceptionally good, it stands a good chance to win Best Film and Best Director awards.

These are my predictions and i wish they come true.
I can clarify some things about the performances of the Female Actresses :-
Vidya Balan : (Paa) She did justice to her character & gave some light to the movie Paa.
Final Verdict : May get an award for the Supporting Role.
Katrina Kaif : (De Dana Dhan) She did not have much to do in it and the role she played did not
require any so called acting skills. There is not much about that role.
(Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani) The character was sweet and cute. Katrina did quite well,
but still there was nothing much in her role. This time too
this lady fails as she does not have any much hard hitting
performance to do in her character.
Final Verdict : Does not deserve any awards.
Kareena Kapoor : (Kurbaan) She did pretty well with the performance in Kurbaan, but not enough for an
award. And everyone knows that the movie was a huge flop !
(3 Ediots) Did complete justice to her role. But, it was very much limited.
Final Verdict :- Kareena is not bagging any award for 3 Ediots as her role is limited, but she might get one
award for Kurbaan. Only a 15% chance.
Priyanka Chopra : (Whats Your Rashee) : She played all the 12 roles with complete respect and justice.
So, Priyanka deserves an award for this movie. But,
unfortunately the movie was an average one. So the award is
a doubt in this case.
(Kaminey) : With a mind blowing performance in the movie, Priyanka is sure
to get an award. She did complete justice in the movie.
So, lets hope that she gets this award. And the movie was
the third biggest hit of the year.
Final Verdict :- This year too, Priyanka has proved that she is the one who deserves the award the most.
Chance : 90%
Note : Priyanka has already received the award this year for Kaminey as the Best Actress at the Apsara Film Awards.

* Best Music – Love Aaj Kal
* Best Playback Singer (Male) – Sonu Nigam (Zoobie Doobie – 3 Idiots) or Sonu Nigam (Ishq hai rab hai – Dil Bole Hadippa)
* Best Playback Singer (Female) – Sundhi Chauhan (Hadippa Remix) or Shreya Goshal (Zoobi Doobi).
* Best Supporting Actor (Male) – Abhishek Bachchan for Paa, Madhvan or Sharman Joshi for 3 Idiots. (Neil Nittin Mukesh also may get one for his performance in New-York)
* Best Supporting Actress (Female) – my first choice would be Kirron Kher for Kurbaan, but as the film was a total flop, there isn’t a lot of chances for her to get one, so I say it may be Kalki Koechlin for Dev D.
For the other performances of this year :
Kareena Kapoor :
* Kurbaan : I didn’t like her in this role! In some scenes she was doing well, but in other she was too much over reacting! So I don’t think she will get an award for this one.
* 3 Idiots : she was here for nothing! Her role was very limited, so no award for this performance!
Katrina Kaif :
* APKGK & De Dana Dan : both movies, her role served for nothing! She was just here to be pretty, cute and sweet, that’s all.
* New-York : the caracter of her role was strong, but for me Katrina didn’t act well! In some scenes she was over reacting.
She don’t deserve any award this year!
Priyanka Chopra :
* What’s Your Rashee : she did 12 roles in the film, but still she did not act perfectly!! some roles were very well done, but other she was trying too hard and it was quite obvious!
* Kaminey : I didn’t like her in this movie because she did nothing in it!! The 2nd lead male had more scenes than her! It’s realy a waste! If her role was less shorter, she would be amazing.. but in Kaminey she was really limited, and I didn’t like that!!
So for me the only one who deserve really to win the award for best actress this year is Vidya Balan. Her performance in Paa was simply mind blowing! I would say that rani to may deserve the award, but unfortunatly Dil Bole Hadippa didn’t do well at the box office, so the chances for it to happen are really minimal!
** Vidya Balan has received the Star Screen award for best actress for her role in Paa. Well deserved, and hope that she will win others!!
