It was clear right from the start, that the first day of the second weekend would be most-crucial for Akshay Kumar’s Blue.
But unfortunately, much like Kambakht Ishq, Blue has crashed on its 8th business day. The movie has done approximately Rs 2,20,00,000 (2.2 crores) of business on Friday and has shown no spike after remaining steady during the weekdays (Tuesday – Thursday).
Although unlikely, the makers would be hoping for better collections on Saturday and Sunday.
As of now, with a total nett gross of 35 crores in 8 days, we expect BLUE to end its theatrical run as yet another average grosser for Akshay Kumar.

All the Best on the other hand is super-steady at the BO in Week 2 and should record better collections than ‘Blue’ for the weekend. Quite ironically a film without the presence of huge stars, now seems likely to be the winner of the so-called Diwali battle.

i dont know how will i wait till 27 nov coz whole month to go.

i just want to remind u something that u 4get, the distributers of kambakht ishq anounced the super success of the film in just 1 week wich they said the film collected over 100cr world wide yaad hai? and u said is a flop film, do u know what 100cr mean? since u said only the distributers can explain the success of the film.
And then go back to boxofficeindia.com, since u are respecting what they said about movie, on saturday 24th october the first week distributor share of blue was a good 19.50cr for only its hindi version and the telugu version had a 60-65lakhs, only the 1st week. Comment about it.
To add u with this indian cinema are always consider about distributers share in term of hit, not their grossing.

Sudeep: London Dreams is showing in our cinemas.. started last night.. but I can’t go and watch it today.. Thrusday is always a busy day for me.. but I will on Saturday – and if my brother confirmed that it’s a good movie.
And a question: how come you’re so busy for yr exam, can’t watch movies, but you’re online all the days?!! I think internet keeps u busy more than watching a movie which will not take more than 2.30hrs only!

Sudeep: it will need a little time to know the audience’s reaction.. iit was released only last night, late night, and today’s show for this movie started at 11.30am (now our timing is 12.00noon.. means ppl are still watching it and didn’t leave the theatre yet) and the next show will be at 2.30pm and the show which will follow will be at 5.30pm.. so..we still need a time ( if I could cancel some of my programs of today and go to cinema and watch it ) then I’ll tell you my opinion).. anyways.. I’ve asked one of the stuff who sells tickets at Seef multiplexes and he said that ppl who saw it last night liked it, said quite a good movie.

This weeks releases London Dreams and Aladin have not had a good response as far as advance booking is concerned. London Dreams advance can be called fair at best in multiplexes and single screens have had similar response. London Dreams is carrying good pre-release reports and the feeling in the trade is that the film should pick up over the weekend.
so i think it will get abt 15 cr in weekend n if movie is good then it will pick like chukde india

i am sorry to say that i just checked some cinemas in sydney that advance booking of LD is very low so far all the hall r empty at a moment for tomorrow but abt Blue atlease half hall was full one day before n weekend every hall was house full but i dont know why the movie collected only abt 50 lakhs in australia. i dont know wht gonna happened with LD but my search n boxofficeindia.com ‘s reports tells us that movie will take slow start.
but dont worry vipul shah is a brand name he will bring the poeple to cinema n one more good news that in india monday is public holiday so movie has good chance to recover.
