Hrithik Roshan’s Bang Bang, one of the most anticipated action films of 2014, against a film that went on to be the biggest grosser of all-time collecting more than Rs 500 crore at the worldwide box office.
It makes for an interesting comparison, doesn’t it? The 90 second teaser of Dhoom 3 starts slow with Aamir’s ‘bande hai hum uske’, picks up pace and concludes with a bike stunt. Bang Bang is all action right from the start, featuring all the best bits from the film. Like someone mentioned in the comments section, “The 1 minute teaser leaves you craving for more and isn’t that what a teaser is meant to do”
The common factor in both films is the presence of Katrina Kaif.

BANG BANG Teaser is far better than anything in bollywood so what is d3 infront of it. It makes kick and d3 look like 2 rs circus

Bang bang reminded me of kites most of the time but it was good ,editing and all were superb and hrithik stole the show but Dhoom3 teaser was heavy and just had intros of aamir,abhi uday and kat bang bang is like a mini trailer according to me Dhoom3 teaser and trailer win big time powerful they are!
Bang Bang is better. IMO, it is the best tease after Ek tha tiger.

Epic blockbuster.will definitely be Bollywood’s 4th 300cr film after p.k.,hny and kick.also it has demolished any chances of haider becoming a hit.tell me name of one person who will prefer watching haider instead of bang bang even after watching this extarordinary teaser of bang bang??

Comparison should be between Bang Bang teaser and Dhoom 3 trailer (which won’t be fair), Dhoom 3’s trailer was great but its teaser is no match to Bang Bang teaser, even unbiased Aamir fans would agree.
After Kick, Bang Bang has set the standards too high! If you want to make an action movie, make it like them instead of a man beating 50 odd people. Bollywood is progressing rapidly technology wise from past one year.

Not a big fan of Hrithik but one must admit that this trailer is much much better than Dhoom 3 and the movie will also be better anytime anyday
Both are good.
Dhoom goes down a bit in the mid, while the way Bang Bang was said after the countdown was simply not upto the mark. It might be in sync in the movie, but as a teaser you cannot say Bang Bang with so low tone. Also the car in flames just before the end is too old style.
I guess both are equally good.

Bang Bang teaser is copy paste from Dhoom1 Dhoom2, ETT, Krrish3, Dhoom3 and many flop hollywood movies. Singham Returns trailer is better than it. Don’t dare to compare from Dhoom3 & Kick.
I hv a gut feeling that 2014 will b one of the best year ever in Bollywood.it will not only b great in terms of business(4 300cr bb,2 200cr bb and 4 100cr superhit)but also in terms of quality of cinema it will b great.for last few years most of the big hits were getting decent to goid wom but this I blv every big hit will get good to very gd wom.for the first time since dabangg I see a strong chance of a salman film getting v.good wom while hrithik,srk and aamir after slightly underperforming with k3 ,ce and d3 will get back to v.good wom this year.hope my wish cms true.
@Himanshualsolia – Haider will take away considerable amount of screens, so unfortunately it will not get to 40 crore opening, which is only possible for a 4,000 screen release size with more than 90-95% occupancy.
Bang Bang is being produced by Fox Star Studios and it is a remake of the Tom Cruise- Cameron Diaz film Knight and Day.
