Most of these no. are due to the star power of Hrithik. I still feel had it even been an ok movie, many records were in danger. But story and a poor director really made a joke of all the Hype. But now with Mohenjo-Daro, Hrithik will be back with a Bang. Dear Khans you have complete 2015 year, make whatever records you want to, as in 2016 this man is going to break them all.

@indicine well I gotta tell u that BangBang has raked in $13.1 million usd (Rs. 80 crores) in the international market. Thus taking the grand total to 320 cr. Bang Bang could have easily crossed 200cr mark in domestic market had it got a solo release. But nonetheless it did amazingly well even without being a solo release or else Bang Bang could have been the 2nd 200cr movie for Hrithik after Krrish 3!!!
this movie is also underperformer this year many big movies are underperforming first jai ho then bang bang and now happy new year.jai ho could had collected much more than actuals it does not happen due to heavy neagtivity around salman,also it has worst director,worst music,worst actress but yaar in bang bang time all are perfect including hype,biggest actress,good music, but it is still underperformed may be due to hr starpower which is less compared to khans.

180 crores Lifetime in India and 80 crores overseas lifetime is good collections, making worldwide gross collections 340 crores. If haider was not there it would have easily crossed 200 crores nett in India and 400 crores gross worldwide…
However as a HR fan i am very happy that the movie was great and enjoyed it twice. Some of the positives of Bang Bang are:
1) Best action scenes
2) Best dance
3) HR at his best
4) HR-Kat romance was very good
5) Music was very good, i just felt there should have been a theme song in this album
Overall a wonderfull film to watch…
without clah it would have collected at least 190 or 200…anyway..con for bang bang and haider…really happy for shahid his really a good and humble person….if it was hny insted of bang bang….srk film woudn’t cross 150cr.

Here is my review: really a solid movie by farah khan…after Main Hoon Na & OSO…if you like above mentioned 2 movies then i’m sure you’re gonna like HNY….it’s a very good movie with good dance performance ,good acting & good locations….and lakh guna better than Krrish 3 , d-3 ,Kick…..i haven’t watch bang bang yet, so i can’t tell hny is better than bang-2 or not….and for haters…show is still going housefull…..
