Even though Bang Bang was competing against a critically acclaimed film like Haider, the Siddarth Anand film has managed to beat the lifetime business of Salman Khan’s Jai Ho and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Holday: A Solider Is Never Off Duty’ in less than 6 days after its release in theatres.
The fact that the film had a couple of holidays in its first weekend did help.
Bang Bang also took less than 5 days to go past 2 States and Ek Villain, the 6th and 7th highest grossers of the year so far.
The Hrithik Roshan action film should go on to be the 2nd highest grosser of the year after Kick. By the end of the year, Bang Bang could be at No 4, as the highest grosser for a film released outside the festive weekend – i.e assuming Happy New Year and P.K perform upto expectations and Action Jackson doesn’t exceed!

I just watched Kick again and can say that is much more entertaining than Bang Bang.
In terms of cinematography Kick>> Bang Bang
Music Kick= Bang Bang
Overall entertainment Kick>> Bang Bang
Plus Jacqueline in Kick was way better than Katrina in Bang Bang.
Talking of performances Kick had some amusing actors (even small roles) like Saurabh Shukla, Nawazuddin, Randeep etc. who gave very entertaining performances. In Bang Bang excluding Hrithik and Javed I didnt find any interesting performances.
In terms of Dialogues, Kick is much better than Bang Bang. There were so many humourous lines in the film.
Then the very well done animated sequence showing Devi Lal’s growing up.
Bang Bang tried to redo some of Knight and Days funny moments but most of them fell flat.
Talking of Action: Here Bang Bang is ahead of Kick, with never done before in Bollywood scenes.
Overall Kick was a much better entertainer than Bang Bang, which is clearly shown by the audience response of both films.

(I know both were meant to be commercial entertainers, both had loopholes, but that doesn’t mean I will give same rating to both. Kick succeeded in many ways which Bang Bang failed to do.)
Definitely the competition is between happy new year and PK for the top spot in 2014.. I hope action Jackson ungli and others also does well
I am requesting to all the most sensible fan base Hrithikfans to ignore this bhojpurians and pagalpurians. Look, a salmanfan @Rahul is saying that kat was the reason for the 100 crores of BangBang. Hey loser, even your bhai’s yuvraaj movie had kat. But that became the biggest disaster of kat’s career. So use your brain loser. And if i apply the same logic ,then all these jthj,ett shouldn’t have been a hit without kat. Why Hrithikhaters are so dumb? Similarly, I can see that dumb people are HRhaters.

Comparing Hrithik with Khans???? LOL biggest joke I’ve ever heard…Ha Ha.
1) Hrithik looks like a real hero unlike khans who always look like SADAK-CHAP beggars.
2) Hrithik means perfection; I mean just watch JODHA-AKBAR and GUZZARISH. No khan, No kumar, No Kapoor could have played that character. Hrithik was that real in those movies.
3) Hrithik has top notch acting skill which no khan can ever have in their pathetic career.
4) Do we even need to talk about dancing!!!! Hrithik is simply a GOD in dancing.
5) Hrithik is the only one who can make it big in Hollywood and I’m sure he will when he’ll do a hollywood action movie next year. Whereas these khans can’t even make it in 10000 years.
Hrithik has got it all which makes him the numero uno and he his way way ahead this khans/Kapoors/Kumar. Hrithik is an eagle who meant to fly higher comparing to crows (Khans) who meant to stay at the bottom.

Mustafa Shuaib Ansari… when did Luck By Chance become Hrithik film? He had 5 minute special appearance. Please dont write nonsense. SRK had a much bigger role in Billu compared to Hrithik. Almost 3 songs, one emotional scene and one intro.. thats more than what you get in an entire Salman film lol.

Easy kid- Kat is a ticket seller- she puts bums on seats which for a Hrithik movie is essential as Hrithik is mostly a crowd puller in ManipulationPur and its Capital City Jaaduland…! I dont want to comment on any heroes, but i would like to bring you all to notice that Hrithik si the only actor who did stunts on his own and no body doubles in this movie also MJ’s dance which is done flawlessly by Hrithik only, no actors of Hrithik age or more than him can do that, Instead of tellign salman sharukh think how capable is Hrithik before commenting on bang Bang movie.
Bang bang movie is fun,romantic,drama everything in one movie.
Just watch it in theatres dont simply comment in this blog
