Even though Bang Bang was competing against a critically acclaimed film like Haider, the Siddarth Anand film has managed to beat the lifetime business of Salman Khan’s Jai Ho and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Holday: A Solider Is Never Off Duty’ in less than 6 days after its release in theatres.
The fact that the film had a couple of holidays in its first weekend did help.
Bang Bang also took less than 5 days to go past 2 States and Ek Villain, the 6th and 7th highest grossers of the year so far.
The Hrithik Roshan action film should go on to be the 2nd highest grosser of the year after Kick. By the end of the year, Bang Bang could be at No 4, as the highest grosser for a film released outside the festive weekend – i.e assuming Happy New Year and P.K perform upto expectations and Action Jackson doesn’t exceed!

Yes Bang Bang has not performed as expected. But still these are very good collections. Infact the collections truly reflect the super stardom of Hrithik. Whatever BB has collected is solely because of him

@hr fan The maximum difference should be about 10 percent of the lifetime collections like in Ce, kick.In ETT it was even lesser.But in case of bang bang,it seems to be increasing day by day

finally i watched it yesterday..
to be honest – i found it average fair.
not too bad not too good.
i said average only coz of the reason that teaser nd the trailer had generated a huge expectations nd i didnt found the movie on that level but ya its okk it is a fair one time watch.
now as per boxoffice is concerned – i am still not understanding the clear verdict of audience as on sunday it didnt show any major jump but still it hold well on tuesday so i think today nd thursday will clear the picture.
so far the business is good considering the competition from haideer nd the way haider got good reviews,performance of bang bang is still fair enough.
btw i m glad to see that bangbang did reasonably well in overseas also.
so hope for the best hr fans.
still 2 weeks to go till happy new year,,bangbang can clear as much as possible.

1) Krrish 3.. BOI Site was a major site but post 2010 it got all its viewers thanks to its laziness..
It needed something to get back in the news during its relaunch.. The nly big film during that time that could Git it enough attention was K3… So it did all it could and got Succesfull thanx to haters for whom, all of a sudden, it became the best site for BO collectionz..
2) Bang Bang, except stupid BOI & haters everybody agrees to above mentioned figures.. Including some of the major Hollywood sites like Box office mojo, Deadline,, Rentrak..
