Until now, the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale wasn’t officially announced by Red Chillies Entertainment. But the release of posters of the two films today, both highlighting the 18th December release date, has pretty much confirmed the clash between two films costing in excess of Rs 100 crore each!
With stakes at an unprecedented high – the combined cost of films releasing on a single Friday has never been higher – the trade did try their level best to avert the clash. It wasn’t to be.
The makers of both films want to cash-in on the Christmas weekend, which should result in this industry’s biggest clash.
Will both films work at the box office and give the trade its best possible result? Can a film like Bajirao Mastani take on the might of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale? Can Sanjay Leela Bhansali finally avenge his embarrassing defeat back in 2007 when Saawariya was trounced by Om Shanti Om? These are just some of the questions that will be asked in the next few days.

On Christmas people will love to watch an epic film like Bajirao. Such movies come once in a long time. Regular masalas like Dilwale come every week.

He planned everything huge.
He made all huge as per his plan.
Everything went well according to his plan.
But his 18 months before decided release date become problem for others.
SRK decided to release his film on same date.
Immediately all trade people came out with their articles.
People like Komal Nahta wrote that SLB should postpone his film.
He said its clash of Ego.
But can Mr.Komal Nahta explain us that whose Ego is this..?
If SLB decided release date 18 months ago then how can you say that its his Ego.?
And if he is confident on his product then why you guys are worried..?
And if you really feel worry about BM then tell a safe release date for it.
All dates in January are full with Wajir,Ghayal & Airlift.
So if BM gets postponed then it will clash with one of the above & that to in non holiday period.
Then why they postpone it by leaving biggest festival period..?
But problem is that all these so called Experts are worried about Dilwale & not for BM.
And people like Komal Nahta praise some movies even before watching it & writes articles only for money.

so all drama happened on social sites for force SLB to postpone his film is proved one thing that opposition is in big worry.
so i think it boosted the confidence of SLB & team.
They made film in grand scale.
Bajiro’s whole life is a interesting & beautiful chapter of History.
so movie will sure have entertaining & engaging plot.
so all going well for BM.
18th release & good wom will drag people in theaters once holidays start.
so it will surely earn 150crs+

If bahubali(Hindi version) can collect more than 60cr from second week despite facing competion from universally accepted movie Bajrangi bhaijaan, then with positive word of mouth any logical person can think what Bajirao Mastani will do with Dilwaale

Dilwale is looking a bit different from usual rohit shetty movies .. I’ve heard it loosely inspired by amitabh’s Hum … Expecting a great story from dilwale… History is gonna repeat dis time. Salman-kabir ett failed to cross Aamir-Raju 3 idiots in 2011 by a small margin … Same thing happened in 2015. Again Salman has just failed by a small margin to beat PK.
Srk-Rohit combo did it in 2013 by beating 3idiots.. Now history will repeat in 2015 by dilwale beating PK … It can happen if the movie is appreciated like Chennai express.
