Until now, the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale wasn’t officially announced by Red Chillies Entertainment. But the release of posters of the two films today, both highlighting the 18th December release date, has pretty much confirmed the clash between two films costing in excess of Rs 100 crore each!
With stakes at an unprecedented high – the combined cost of films releasing on a single Friday has never been higher – the trade did try their level best to avert the clash. It wasn’t to be.
The makers of both films want to cash-in on the Christmas weekend, which should result in this industry’s biggest clash.
Will both films work at the box office and give the trade its best possible result? Can a film like Bajirao Mastani take on the might of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale? Can Sanjay Leela Bhansali finally avenge his embarrassing defeat back in 2007 when Saawariya was trounced by Om Shanti Om? These are just some of the questions that will be asked in the next few days.

And with this announcement , one more ting is confirmed that Bhansali is all set to give another ‘Sawariya’ for sure.
Not sure about the content of ‘Bajirao’ and I won’t talk bad about it, but it’s biggest problem is, how much nice is the content, it will fail miserably at box-office due to clash.

Everybody knows Dilwale will be another pathetic film of worst jodi in Bwood ie SRK-Rohit.
Whereas BM will turn out to be a classic bcoz SLB has invested so much money ? and he is not stupid, he knows the product he has made.
So, being a nutralite makkhan, my prediction with BM Excellent WOM and Dilwale Bad WOM(this is the most probable WOM):
DILWALE: 140 crore max.
BM : 170 crore +

Without Clash Dilwale 300cr BM 130cr

I personally feel SLB may have an upper hand in this clash. I am not very confident about the content of Dilwaale. I am also not confident about Bajirao Mastani either.
I think both the movies will flop coz of high budget. And there is Star Wars too which will take Indian Market by storm.
