The makers of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ have announced that the trailer of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film will be released on July 18, which also happens to be birthday of Priyanka Chopra.
The actress, who plays the lead in the film, tweeted “So exciting! Best present ever! #BajiraoMastani trailer releasing on my bday!!18th July! Yay! Can’t wait to share with you all! Thank u SLB (Sanjay Leela Bhansali)”
Ranveer Singh plays Baji Rao I, a warrior and the second Peshwa of the Maratha Empire, from 1720AD until his death.
Deepika Padukone plays Mastani, a Maratha general and Priyanka Chopra will be seen playing Baji Rao’s first wife.
The epic will be released on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’, as Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided to take on SRK once again after their much-hyped ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’ clash in 2007.
We got a chance to watch the teaser trailer of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and the film looks super impressive, the scale and the grandeur has to be seen to be believed. The makers have also informed us that the teaser will be out on 15th or 16th on the internet!
The teaser will be out with Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which will also ensure that it reaches out to the audience in smaller centres.

It is our fault that we announce this date which was already announced by slb, our exact date to release a movie was on christmas weekend but in order to get the 1st hgoty after 8yr with the help of RS, VD and last but not the least kajol we decided to release a movie one week before christmas so that there will be lot of advantage of holiday and also thought that by announcing this date slb will prepone or postpone his movie and we will get 3 open week. And one more thing my fans this movie is much of VD and kriti than me as i will be seen for not more than 30 minute with my maa maa expression. This is bcas other actor fan want watch the movie if i will torture them by my maa maa expresion in whole of this movie so these star are cast so that they may watch it and give me 1st hgoty after 8yrs. I have also told indicine to not publish the ww and os ranking of an actor as i have been beaten black and blue by legend aamir. This is bcas i was not getting any film from yrf and dharma since 2010.

It’s such a shame that SLB is making a film about an unbeaten warrior, (considered as the biggest and most successful Peshwa) and he decides to focus more on his controversial love story than his war tactics.
Had someone like Farhan Akhtar made this film, he would have given the audience a whole-some entertainer, like Lakshya, which was fun in first half and immensely motivating in the second half. Really, Indians can learn so much from Bajirao 1, his defense tactics, his aggressive leadership (they could have infact used a narrative like Rang De Basanti, to give us a deep insight into the strategic planning of Bajirao)
Instead we’ll see yet another so-called ‘epic’ love story, where cinematography and expensively mounted sets will be given more importance than a well written script. :( Such a pity that they are wasting a golden opportunity!

After Aamir’s tweet, both Anurag Kashyap and Firoz Nadiadwala backed out and allowed PK to release solo. This is called Star power and fear of failure against a stronger opponent.
Nobody fears SRK bcoz they know SRK movies are shit especially with Rohit Shetty and only earn on Day 1.

BM (if as gud as Ramleela) – 150 cr
