The makers of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ have announced that the trailer of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film will be released on July 18, which also happens to be birthday of Priyanka Chopra.
The actress, who plays the lead in the film, tweeted “So exciting! Best present ever! #BajiraoMastani trailer releasing on my bday!!18th July! Yay! Can’t wait to share with you all! Thank u SLB (Sanjay Leela Bhansali)”
Ranveer Singh plays Baji Rao I, a warrior and the second Peshwa of the Maratha Empire, from 1720AD until his death.
Deepika Padukone plays Mastani, a Maratha general and Priyanka Chopra will be seen playing Baji Rao’s first wife.
The epic will be released on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’, as Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided to take on SRK once again after their much-hyped ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’ clash in 2007.
We got a chance to watch the teaser trailer of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and the film looks super impressive, the scale and the grandeur has to be seen to be believed. The makers have also informed us that the teaser will be out on 15th or 16th on the internet!
The teaser will be out with Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which will also ensure that it reaches out to the audience in smaller centres.

I am not excited for BM . I am huge fan of History but i doubt Bhansali’s skills . Ram Leela was a stupid love story . Bhansali has lost his touch now according to me . Once he made movies like HDDCS, Devdas and Guzaarish . I like Priyanka very much and i am damn sure she will give a terrific performance as always . Ranveer was also brilliant in RL but it had no story . I will not talk about Box Office . I would be better if SLB prepones the movie by one week i.e. 11th Dec . The odds favour Dilwale . Because it brings back the combo of SRK and Rohit, Christmas and huge budget of BM . I habe heard that the budget of BM is more than 100 CR maybe 120 CR which is huge for a Ranveer starrer . SLB has not taken a single rupee for directing this movie to reduce costs . 5 days left for the trailer . It is a great move to release trailer on Eid with BB because more people will watch the trailer . Let us wait for the trailer which will reveal what it is all about . Apart from all these points i have huge respect for Bajirao Peshwa from the core of my heart . So After giving 3 back to back flops & Disasters.. Gunday, Kill Dil, DDD now Ranveer is all set to deliver Industry disaster with Bajirao Mastani… and after Don vs JEM (where SRK crushed Bhojpuri Bhaijaan), CDI vs Marigold (where SRK crushed Bhojpuri Bhaijaan), Saawariya vs OSO (where SRK Crushed SLB,Salman,Ranbir).. now it time for SLB again to be crushed/raped by KING KHAN’s most awaited movie Dilwale…. Ranveer couldn’t make a hit 90-100cr budget movie DDD despite of all big stars in the movie be it Farah Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka, Anushka, Ranvir himself, despite of solo release… so how he will make Bajirao Mastani a hit which has 140cr – 150cr budget (even Ranveer himself said it is the highest budget movie ever) ? he can’t even if it will get solo release, so if it is clashing with KING KHAN’s Dilwale its life time time will be less than Saawariya & DDD/KillDil/Gunday may be less than Industry disaster BV….!!
