The makers of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ have announced that the trailer of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film will be released on July 18, which also happens to be birthday of Priyanka Chopra.
The actress, who plays the lead in the film, tweeted “So exciting! Best present ever! #BajiraoMastani trailer releasing on my bday!!18th July! Yay! Can’t wait to share with you all! Thank u SLB (Sanjay Leela Bhansali)”
Ranveer Singh plays Baji Rao I, a warrior and the second Peshwa of the Maratha Empire, from 1720AD until his death.
Deepika Padukone plays Mastani, a Maratha general and Priyanka Chopra will be seen playing Baji Rao’s first wife.
The epic will be released on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’, as Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided to take on SRK once again after their much-hyped ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’ clash in 2007.
We got a chance to watch the teaser trailer of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and the film looks super impressive, the scale and the grandeur has to be seen to be believed. The makers have also informed us that the teaser will be out on 15th or 16th on the internet!
The teaser will be out with Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which will also ensure that it reaches out to the audience in smaller centres.
Wow … This is really news, still cant imagine the only difference here is , bajirao mastani could give a tough fight to bombay velvet in terms of epic distlaster proportion however movie will be saved by dipsy ….people are crazy and love her a lot ……

srk movie runs for hype and heavy promotion.to beat him other actor have to promote their movie more heavily lyk ajay done in sos.and then screen size which he booked 6 mnth ago.if sos and jthj screen ratio is 35:65.that means with same screen size sos easily beat jthj.and finaly popular songs.

As a neutral commentator (though I am Salman Fan), I feel business of Dilwale will impact more and BM will gain from hype. Dilwale needs solo release for big business. On the other hand BM due to continuous comparison with Dilwale will get attention of public. Unless the content is not weak like Sawariya, BM will be a profitable venture. Those who are doubting star power should refer business of Bahubali. Those who tell, SRK never fails should refer Ashoka Vs Indian clash of 2001.
