Reports that Anushka Sharma will be playing the lead in Salman Khan’s 2016 Eid release ‘Sultan’, is getting stronger with each passing day.
While Yash Raj Films is yet to make an official announcement, reliable sources have now confirmed that Anushka is more or less confirmed to play the lead in the film.
Anushka is currently shooting in London for Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
Sultan is set for a massive clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees during Eid next year.

Whole world knows what preference a heroine gets in Sallu khan starrer.
The most recent example is , Bajrangi Bhaijan. Kareena was shown in just few frames and rest all the time, fat and bald Khan was present on the screen.
On the other hand, Anushka was given a full fledged role on her very first movie starring bollywood megastar “King Khan” .
She has proven herself in other movies line NH10,PK etc as well.
Not sure why she agreed to get casted against non-actor khan where she will merely get any screen presence.
