Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be shooting at the 360-year-old Jama Masjid of Delhi for his upcoming film ‘Sultan’.
The director of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar, shared a few photographs from the sets of the film on Tuesday.
“Shooting in 40 degrees ‘Sultan’ at beautiful Jama Masjid, last three weeks” Zafar said.
After completing the Delhi portion of the shoot today, the cast and crew of Sultan will move to western Uttar Pradesh from Wednesday to continue shoot.
Important portions of the film will be shot in and around the Morna area in Muzaffarnagar.
Starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead, Sultan is scheduled to release during the Eid weekend this year.

Few days back Indicine publish an article about Salman using a body double. But recently I read an article in leading news website that Salman does the major action scene in SULTAN without using Body Double, which also includes high octane action scene and Parkour scenes. I am putting that whole article here (This is for Salman Fans and Haters)
Salman Khan recently shot for a major pre-climax action sequence for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan. It features a kite-running sequence which involves parkour and Salman will be seen running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping and rolling on the streets and from terrace to terrace — all by himself without a stunt double as the scene had to look authentic and raw.
Says a source close to the film, “Salman plays a wrestler from Haryana. All the action sequences are very stylised, yet raw and real. While Salman had learned parkour earlier for Ek Tha Tiger, the one in Sultan is more realistic and complicated. It’s centred around a kite-running event and Salman not only trained for it but also lost 12 kgs for the scene. Kite-running or patang baazi is a common sport in India where people compete with each other about how high their kites can go till they get cut. Ali Abbas has incorprated a stylised parkour sequence in the chase scene.”
Parkour requires a certain atheletic body type and weight balance and Salman had to leap from one terrace to another without the help of any cables, which is dangerous. There were medics on the sets, 24-hour ambulances and a crew on wheels with multi-camera setups to ensure that everything went off smoothly.”
Salman and his action team rehearsed for two days before they started shooting. The source adds, “The kite-running sequence in the heartland of Haryana, is something Salman has never done before and was very tough because he did it himself. While Salman is physically fit as he’s an action hero, for the sequence, he had to shed his weight by 12 kgs and went on a special diet as he had to be leaner.”
Three action coordinators have designed the actions sequences in Sultan — Ali Abbas and his team, Hollywood stunt co-ordinator Larnell Stovall and Parvez Sheikh.

I have always said and will say again, one day both the media puppet stars srk and salman’s game will be over and come to their aukaat. One’s career is already over and other will come back in same with mega disaster loltan. Megastar aamir khan is gonna rule box office forever and each of his films for next 10 years will cross minimum 300 cr club. Salmaj was nothing in top 10 before dabangg. He was not even in top 10. His success ratio is worst and most poor amongst all stars. Even hrithik and akshay have far better succeds ratio than lallu. He will go down further with loltan after prdp debacle. This year the lion of bollywood will roar once again and open 500 cr club in india alone. Salman never was and never will be as big as Megastar Aamir Khan.

Considering the buzz of SULTAN and Raees it’s only logic that SULTAN releases on EID and the teaser has received good reviews with over 10M views and over 99k likes on youtube.
Guys there is news that in 1st week of May YRF may release another Teaser of SULTAN which introduce Anushka Sharma….
Competition between this movie and Dangal now for the HGoTY and if Rustom moves then MD will also join in the battle.

If content is not rich then Sultan will be a blockbuster just like ETT.

Even if i am a die hard fan of Salman i can’t stop too get worried about the direction skill of Ali. Just look at Maneesh Sharma he completely screwed the second half of FAN, and now FAN is paying for it. It is like YRF wants bad directors. I really hope he doesn’t screw up like him. If he does i won’t be watching any Ali Abbas Zafars movies ever again!!

Aamir is daddy of everyone and the year when he has a release, no one has chance to give HGOTY. So better don’t talk anything.
