Akshay Kumar’s latest release Airlift is the 4th highest weekend of his career, behind films like Singh Is Bling, Brothers (both of which had one extra holiday in their first weekends) and his 2012 release Rowdy Rathore – which also happens to be the highest grosser of his career.

airlift is a film made with lot of depth.
it tackles biggest air evacuation in history by india.
films starts fast n with uneven pace n emotional twist n turns manages gud cinematic experience. it has some streched n weak scenes too. bt overall never put u off track.
POSITIVES-
AMAIZING AKSHAY. any roal with any level of intensity .. plus u cn realise he could do same roal with filmy style.. bt he picks the essense of film n delivers breathtaking performance .
CINEMATOGRAPHY- outstanding. simply superb. war zone in 1990s. kuvet streets indian ambessy evrything bang on perfect. BEST PART OF AIRLIFT
ACTING- no weak actors in film . case closed.
DIRECTORS TOUCH- based on true story they gave it realistic touch. its evn less filmy thn baby.
NEGATIVES-
some scenes streched unnecessary.

I couldn’t hear the climax scene because everyone in the theater were clapping and whistling very loud …. some people even jumped off their seats and started dancing. And the woman sitting next to me had teary eyes… Wow!

If reports are to be beleived, the title track of Fan will release in 7 different languages. Since SRK has a huge fan following, we hear, the makers are planning to introduce the song in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Punjabi and Bhojpuri. It is expected to release in mid-February.
