As expected, Agneepath has opened to a historic response all over the country. For the morning shows, the collections (at several centers) are higher than both the first day of Bodyguard and the second day of Ra One.
The reports are good and if the film manages good collections for the evening and night shows (houseful at most places already), Agneepath is likely to take over the opening day record from Bodyguard.
Collections in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore were earth-shattering – with every show running to packed houses at multiplexes.
The reduced number of shows (due to it’s runtime), could be the only reason for Agneepath not to go past the second day collections of Ra One.
After Guzaarish and the slow start of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, two films that completely lacked mass-appeal, Hrithik Roshan has proved yet again that he is one of the most bankable stars in the country.

What a surprise.. This just go on to prove that a films has to hv an earthy appeal for bumper opening.. Take the case of ZNMD which opened with just 8cr and Don 2 with the biggest star SRK could also just manage 16 cr(working friday in this case)….
This explains the historic opening for Salman’s sub standard movies.. Multiplex audience doesn’t think twice before spending money to watch their superstars its d single screen audience who needs to be convinced to spend their hard earned money for d tickets … Hence remakes , over the top action and mindless comedies r d movies which will garner max money..

indicine never said don 2 completely lacked mass-appeal.they should have praised srk bcz inspite of lack of mass appeal the film went on to collect more than 100 crore.i think they are anti srk.
hrithik still needed katrina item for his film opening.don 2 got opening from srk power.
Hrithik is no doubt good.but it is sanjay dutt who steals the show…….his killer look……the dangerous villian act……n top it of all his physique…..hrithik has a eight pack for a long time…..but it is sanjay dutt for whom agneepath must be applauded……this villianous act will be remembered for long…..kancha cheena rockssss…….
Plz dont compare hrithik with amitabh……amitabh is a legend…..hrithik has the potential for that……but has miles to go……

Just saw AGNEEPATH , what a fantastic movie , Its a must watch and it is also 50% different from the old one . Best movie since 3 IDIOTS.
now the khan fans will hide their face in Burqa, the only Khan is Aamir khan, sorry to say but srk and salman both are useless, Its guranteed that Agneepath will cross both these Khans as reports are much much more positive than “RA ONE”(hell of a film, people were crying after watching this film) and “Bodyguard”(One of the worst movies from any actor , no one wants to watch Bodyguard when it comes of TV this shows the quality) .
Hrithik also has Krissh-3 and we can now imagine that what will be achieved by that , Hrithik is excellent actor, KNPH, koi mil gaya, JA,krish, dhoom2, Guzarish he is far better actor than Salman and SRK.
Now Sallu bhai dont you want to repeat this “ek kutta bhi nahin gaya uski film dekhne” , Hrithik said well at that time that a man who know how to handle success is bigger not who show off. Hrithik was always a bigger actor than SRK AND SALLu even though he is “10 YEARS” younger than all 3 Khans , his dhoom 2 and krish were bigger money spinner than any sallu,srk or at that time even AAMIR khan dont have films which belonged to the same level. Infact Sallu films started earning money only after WANTED and after that film he is torturing us with the same 2nd class films such as “READY” and then “BODYGUARD”.

Now a few of you are giving credit to Sanjay Dutt over Hrithik?? LOL!! I have read almost 7 reviews till now and no where I have found critics to praise Sanjay Dutts performance over Hrithik! Even they are claiming that Hrithik has done award winning performance and surely have crossed his previous level to a new. Opening of agneepath is wht to salman bhai films……some fellas r saying bhai is loser ,he is defeated…..if agneepath brokes bodyguard record.. then congratulations or could not broke record of bodyguard..then no problem or better next time…..why some fellas r pulling legs or making remarks on salman bhai…wht salman bhai has to do agneepath movie ?? ..he has no connections wth the film…….so dont make false accusation on SALMAN BHAI ….OK.
