Dhoom 3 star Aamir Khan was spotted at the International Airport in Mumbai as was about to leave for the United States Of America.
Aamir has been selected for the prestigious award for his contribution towards the society through his popular television chat show Satyamev Jayate. The actor wil be honoured by the America Abroad Media (AAM) in Washington D.C on 28th.
The actor will return to Mumbai on 30th to release the theatrical trailer of his upcoming film Dhoom 3 which releases in theatres on December 20th.

Congrats Aamir and team satyamev jayate. This awards shows his hardwork not good in wane. It was one of the unique show who was received great response in india as well as in abroad. Haters are questioning about Aamir stand to personally received awards, he is always taking awards if he get recognition from India and overseas, he received National award and other awards and this time he going to received award because it is for his ambitious Satyamev Jayate, bravo Aamir keep doing good work and movies. As an Fan i liked Aamir not because he is getting awards but because of he was part of movies like Jjws,qsqt,ahat,aaa,mann,rangeela,earth,lagaan,dhkmn,dch,rdb,tzp,3i,talaash etc not for movies like Raja Hindustani and ghajini though i loved ghajini so much, i liked Aamir because he was only mainstream actor who had courage to take different path and have courage to make show like satyamev jayate. Because of he never been any unnecessary controversy. For srkians and his haters he have only 2-3 awards throughout his career and that was also for credit stolen. I don’t know why srkians are not able to digest this award even though their idle have received 200,250,or might be 2000 awards than why you afraid from Aamir, as he is not in race and way behind srk, i font know about srk but his fans still unsatisfied with his 2000 awards and they want srk receive award of best actor for Ce, and for kind info Aamir has Padam Bhushan so he does not require better from India or abroad. Mind It.
Srk is king in overseas there is no question about it but still Aamir film taking big opening in overseas and always having name into top 10 overseas grosser of all time till date, whether its Ghajini, 3¡ or talaash, and 3I is still at no.1 in overseas and was taken the highest opening when it released and it grossed 69 cr in first phase which was broken by Mnik and later it again received top spot.Aamir haters tell me why it was no. 1 before Mnik as no one knows in abroad who is Aamir, and if Aamir was unknown there than how can Sharman,madhvan and kareena known there and about Raju hirani both Munnabhai not having great opening or collection there in overseas, and no question about content of 3i but 3i opening weekend was highest in overseas that time. I Think srk fan of abroad was become bored of srk movies so they collectively come to see Aamir movies in big chunks. And they also received talaash,ghajini,rdb and tzp there.
Don 2 was given 30 crore subsidy bcoz it would promote German tourism not bcoz of srk lol

@Damnn, I disagree, since I’ve watched plenty of interviews in which Aamir jii credited Rajkumar Hirani for the success of 3 idiots. But in a way, some of his movies are only successful because of his presence, a film like Talaash managed to earn 90cr only because it was an Aamir starrer.

Indian govt has given padma bhusan to him ..which is a very big achievement itself.Did yr srk get dis?
