Dharma Productions’ and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s 2 States and Yash Raj FIlms’ Gunday opened to a similar response and both films collected about the same in Week 1, but 2 States has sustained much better as the days have progressed.
While Gunday finished with lifetime business of around Rs 78.43 crore at the domestic box office, 2 States is likely to collect around 95-100 crore by the end of its run.
In the overseas markets, 2 States will beat Gunday this weekend, but will remain the second highest overseas grosser behind Jai Ho (35.28 cr).
Overall, Gunday did around 100 crore worldwide (India net, overseas gross), 2 States will comprehensively beat the YRF film by a huge margin of around 30 crore.
2 States will also be both Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s highest grosser to date. Stars to watch out for in the future.

Dharma production beat Yash raj film, that very good collection of 2 states. It will cross 90cr. Some effect collection from Re…Rani and ASM 2. If didn’t effect it’s sure cross 100cr. Wah Arjun Bhai Wah Kamal Kardeya….
2 states will do 90 crores bussiness.i am happy for alia.
We have also some craps like happy new year and kick this year. But they might be blockbuster because of their blind hype.

2STATES is a WAY better film than Gunday. Gunday was such a rubbish film. Did well only due to good music & over hype. But 2states was a Beautiful film in every angle.
Gunday had Highway,SKSE and then Queen which stopped its business…
Here it is all clear for 2 states..
But it will be challenged by The amazing spiderman 2 next week..
I guess it will collect 95crs lifetime.

It collected 85crs from a 5.5crs opening day,while 2 states is struggling to reach 100crs even though it got a much better start.
