2 States Second Friday and Total Day Wise Collections

2 States is holding up outstandingly well at the domestic box office. Despite three new Hindi releases this week and competition from Punjabi film Jatt James Bond, the Abhishek Varman film has managed to collect around 3.5 crore on its 2nd Friday.

At most centres, 2 States managed to collect more than the combined business of Revolver Rani (1.85 cr), Kaanchi (0.75 cr) and Samrat And Co (0.3 cr).

With none of the new releases opening well, 2 States will be the first choice this weekend and also has a holiday on May 1st in several parts of the country for Labour Day (Karnataka, Goa, Tamilnadu, West Bengal and few others), Maharashtra Day and Gujarat Day.

The Arjun Kapoor – Alia Bhatt film is likely to collect around 13 – 14 crore in its second weekend, taking its 10 day total to around 73 crore. It still has an outside chance of crossing the 100 crore mark, as there are no big Hindi release next week too. The only film that is likely to affect its business now onwards is Hollywood film Spiderman which releases on May 2nd.

behaviour. He also noted that these persons responded to treatment in 2013 and did not
watch the Jan 24, 2014 release which received a semi-hit verdict..
