Big Star Awards 2012 Pictures

The creme da la creme of Bollywood was present at the Big Star Entertainment Awards last night. From superstars like Salman Khan,  Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra to newcomers like Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurana and Yami Gautam. Kareena Kapoor, who performed at the Big Star Awards 2012, looked elegant in all-black outfit as she walked the red carpet and posed for the shutterbugs. “I go on awards for performances. I have been called here for performance as well. I like to dance, of course, I can’t dance as much as Karisma. But dance has its own excitement for me. So when people call me to perform, I like it,” said Kareena.

The trailer of Rajdhani Express which marks the acting debut of veteran tennis player Leander Paes. The film is directed by Ashok Kohli and is scheduled to release in theatres in 2013. Story: Rajdhani Express is the story of Keshav as errand boy for a gun runner. On one errand Keshav steals the weapons and books a ticket on the Rajdhani Express from Delhi to Mumbai to escape. However his fate follows him through his escape onto the train in the form of Yadav, the DY Commissioner of ATS.

The trailer of Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che! will be released with Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 on December 21st. “Yes, it is true that Kai Po Che trailer is being attached with Dabangg 2” said Shikha Kapur from Disney UTV, confirmed the news. Based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel “The 3 Mistakes of My Life”, Kai Po Che has been passed by the censor board with a U/A certificate. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh and Rajkumar Yadav.

After sporting a bald menacing look in Karan Malhotra’s Agneepath, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in short hair and a stylish beard for his role as Sher Khan in Apoorva Lakhia’s remake of Zanjeer. Lakhia designed Dutt’s look himself, while Navin Shetty designed his costumes. Dutt plays the role, that was originally enacted by veteran actor Pran. Zanjeer also features South superstar Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra. Zanjeer Release Date – April 12th 2013. Khiladi 786 Box Office Collections: First Week

The first week collections of Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi 786 stands at Rs 50 crore nett, which is decent, but way below expectations. The film collected 32 crore in it’s first weekend and remained steady during the weekdays. Business was dull at multiplexes, but the response at mass centres was good. Khiladi 786 is not a universal hit like Akshay’s first two releases this year. Housefull 2 collected 63 crores in it’s first week, while Rowdy Rathore did business in excess of 73 crores.

Recently, India’s first dance film starring Prabhu Deva was announced. Now, we have India’s first Zombie film!
