LIFFI 2016 Award Winners

Acclaimed actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tannishtha Chatterjee were declared the Best Actor and Actress at the debut edition of the ‘Lonavla International Film Festival India’ (LIFFI). The best director award went to Anant Mahadevan’s ’Rough Book’. Nawazuddin, who will be seen in Sohail Khan’s ‘Freaky Ali’ this week, won the award for his performance in ’Manjhi – The Mountain Man’ where he played the role of Dashrath Manjhi.

Huge crowd greets Salman Khan in Manali

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan reached Manali, a beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh, to continue shooting for his upcoming film ‘Tubelight’. Sources say, the film will be shot in Rohtang Pass, Naggar, Spiti valley and Solang Nullah. The current schedule will go on for four weeks. The schedule was supposed to take place in the Kashmir valley, but was shifted to Himachal Pradesh due to unrest in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
