Celebrating India’s 67th Independence Day, two Bollywood legends Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan were at the ‘Saath Hain Hum Uttarakhand’ event in Mumbai to raise more than Rs 30 crore for the Uttarakhand relief fund.
The 6 hour long event, was also attended by several other celebrities likes Imran Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Raveena Tandon, Prasoon Joshi, Shankar, Loy, Mika Singh and many more.
There was a rumour earlier today that SRK has donated the first day collections of his most-recent blockbuster ‘Chennai Express’ to the Uttarakhand Relief Fund. Other figures like Rs 10 crore was also being quoted, without any reference to a reliable source, on social networking websites. None of it is true. SRK was at the event to help raise funds.
