Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan met his old friend and ‘mentor’ Rakesh Roshan at his residence on Monday night. It’s likely that the two met to discuss the scheduled clash between his film ‘Raees’ and Filmkraft’s ‘Kaabil’ during the Republic Day weekend next year.
“Met friend/mentor/family after many a days. Mr. R.Roshan reminded me… it’s not important to do 2 much, it’s important to get 1 right. Thx sir.” Shah Rukh posted on Twitter.

Khan has previously worked in Rakesh Roshan directed films like ‘King Uncle’, ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Koyla’.
Has Shah Rukh managed to convince the Roshans to move ‘Kaabil’ to a later date? An announcement is expected soon.

But Raees deserves republic day weekend much more than Kaabil.

Kaabil too deserves a big release.. Kaabil will come on EID,that’ll be better for both hrithik roshan and Filmcraft. Because hrithik is a star who needs big release date from a long time,this time his Rakesh Sir will definitely come on EID /POST-IPL like big release and destroy c grade movies like tubelight/baadshaho,so that not only quality of Hindi cinema will increase but also torture on big release date will be reduced too, Come on Papa Roshan Come on.
If Rakesh roshan shift to another date then sure Ajay’s baadshaho release during Republic day.
2013 all over again… Back then Jeetu ji was a mentor family friend but since then 3 EIDs have come n gone but our King has not been back once to gift him a present not even send/ tweet him a thank you…!

A day will come when you will thank SRK for this day . You will realize that it’s not good for Kaabil to clash with Raees . Kaabil can do very well if it doesn’t clash with Raees .
If SRK has convinced Rakesh Uncle then He would have announced the same in twitter by thanking him But his tweet says a different picture that Kaabil wont move and its a good decision by Rakesh uncle keeping the business point of view. But the clash will be averted for sure. It remains to be seen who is moving forward from the date. I guess Raees will move out.

Raees alone for sure. looking forward SRK, Maira khan, Nawaz and Sunny. Guys regional cinema getting epic. Last night saw ”Vaisakhi List” a Punjabi movie starring Jimmy sher gill released April 2016. Trust me guys It was better then all Bollywood movies released in 2016. even a gud movie sultan can not compete with this high class entertaining movie ”Vaisakhi List” .
i love the relationship between srk and the roshans,so i dont want them to become enemies because of this clash.may god help them to find a solution and release their movies on differents day.

Only kaabil and badshaho deserves it while raees doesn’t even deserve a release!!! There r plenty of free non holiday weekends next year and this year…raees should release on them if they want solo release otherwise stop this nonsense

Raees deserve big holiday compared to Independent Day, Republic Day, 2nd Oct. Like Eid,Diwali,Christmas.
