Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan met his old friend and ‘mentor’ Rakesh Roshan at his residence on Monday night. It’s likely that the two met to discuss the scheduled clash between his film ‘Raees’ and Filmkraft’s ‘Kaabil’ during the Republic Day weekend next year.

Khan has previously worked in Rakesh Roshan directed films like ‘King Uncle’, ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Koyla’.
Has Shah Rukh managed to convince the Roshans to move ‘Kaabil’ to a later date? An announcement is expected soon.

Looking at the relationship of Roshans and Srk if Roshans stick to 26 January date then Srk will not surely release Raees with Kabil and it will not depend on MD performance for srk-Srk can’t hurt relationship with his old friends just because of the mess created by Ritesh.He could have given a better release date by just moving one of his other production.I think it’s the last time srk worked with excel-he will not work with them again-Clash will not happen -it’s 100% confirmed-Actually Srk is left with no option just because of excel-he is in a situation where he can’t delay raees more as Srk-Anand Rai movie will be released on Christmas and Srk-Imtiaz movie will be coming mid year so there is very little chance that Raees will be moved -it can be prepone but can’t be postponed-Now many think that MD good performance will boost HR confidence to release on 26 but I think they may leave the date if MD performs well but will not leave of MD under performs at BO-As underperformance mean HR will be in same situation as of Srk these days(a much needed BO success)so If MD fails then Roshans will want the success with Kaabil so they will not leave the date then

Even being in the top 5-6 Tamil grossers (worldwide) Lingaa is still termed as a flop due to loss incurred to the distributors…and I didn’t pinpoint the humongous loss is in the case of Dilwale…did I? It was a generic statement…and yeah I do know the definition of humongous hehe….and you (as a loyal SRK fan does) are assuming a lot of things in favour of SRK about Raees averting the clash which is quite natural.
But could you please explain the logic why SRK is averting one clash and then try and release his film on a even lesser lucrative period where 2 films were already announced for release? I would say the ego was with SRK here coz he might have thought seeing him announce his movie for the same date the others will automatically move which is not the case anymore.
Anyways I hope sanity prevails and the makers come out with a good decision benefiting both movies…cheers!
