Paresh Rawal’s Oh My God has collected Rs 4 crore nett, which is decent, considering the fact that the evening and night shows were affected by the India – Australia cricket match.
Also, people were well aware that Oh My God wasn’t an Akshay Kumar film, neither did it have a female lead or hit music.
The film has done well in the Mumbai circuit (especially Gujarat, which is a part of the Mumbai territory). Saturday and Sunday will be crucial, but business is likely to be affected tomorrow due to the crucial India – Pakistan T20 match.
The other release Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal is easily director Priyadarshan’s weakest film. It has film has collected Rs 1 crore nett on Day 1.

akki did special appearance in this movie. and he done wonderful job. if this movie turned a huge hit then some stupid will say this is not akki movie, but if the movie don’t then they will blame akki for that.
Oh My God has registered huge jump on Saturday from Friday. Big Word of Mouth has taken its course and jump is noticeable everywhere, be it Northern Belt, Western Belt or Eastern Belt. OMG occupancy in many places is double of yesterday. Many housefull shows are registered.
Occupancy on average is around 60-70% all India for OMG for the Saturday Noon Shows. Advance booking report for evening and night shows are also reporting good. OMG screen count is around 1200 only and if all goes well by the later half of the day Oh My God Saturday Collection should be in the range of 7-8 crore nett all India.

The Night Shows of Saturday or Second day will be to watch out for the film as the film may affect of present success of Barfi.As per Early trends the word of Mouth doing some job for the film but not such growth on Saturday business.A Bit jump is expected on Second Day.At some places The movie doing good and some places very dull.The Film got some good reviews from critics that might help the film coming days.
