Paresh Rawal’s Oh My God has collected Rs 4 crore nett, which is decent, considering the fact that the evening and night shows were affected by the India – Australia cricket match.
Also, people were well aware that Oh My God wasn’t an Akshay Kumar film, neither did it have a female lead or hit music.
The film has done well in the Mumbai circuit (especially Gujarat, which is a part of the Mumbai territory). Saturday and Sunday will be crucial, but business is likely to be affected tomorrow due to the crucial India – Pakistan T20 match.
The other release Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal is easily director Priyadarshan’s weakest film. It has film has collected Rs 1 crore nett on Day 1.

this movie released with only 1200 screens.and saturday,sunday,first week will be great because of great word of mouth.people started coming theaters on large numbers.it will trend like kahani.not so good start,but pick up after that due to great wom.
all those who believe in GOD, irrespective of their religions will like this movie. Its a great movie and a great attempt and movies like these have to be encouraged. Even if such a good movie under performs commercially at the box office, film producers should not back out from making such kind of movies in future. The movie is good enough to do atleast an average business if not more.

budget of movie is 8cr and first day 4 cr from 1200 theatres is gr8. even salman desired to watch it film not to support akki because it is not akki starrer,akki is jst producer and he said omg wasnt made for money. haters dont realize hardwork.they jst know to pull leg.even i dont have problem with other actor being akki fan.i jst wrote it to offend akki
