Actor Arshad Warsi feels Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif would be ideal to play Lord Ram and his wife Sita in a film on epic “Ramayana”.
“I feel right now there is no other better actor than Ranbir Kapoor. He is brilliant and I think he will play Lord Ram’s role better,” the 45-year-old said here Thursday at the screening of 3D animation film “The Croods”.
Among actresses, he feels “somewhere down the line, Katrina fits and Deepika (Padukone) is too exciting”.
The actor feels that India has a rich mythology and added: “We have mythology in abundance and if it is made in the right way, then a good mythological film can be made.”
With proper use of computer graphics, “Ramayana” could be made into an interesting mythological film.
“If you make ‘Ramayana’ with computer graphics, it will come out to be good,” said Arshad who was last seen in “Jolly LLB”, a comic satire on the Indian judicial system.

completely agree with Arshad Warsi. in terms of acting he’s the best at the moment. even Dibakar Banerjee made a comment a day before that Ranbir’s the only star who’s an actor & vice-versa.
yes Ranbir is the best actor in the industry today. actors like Aamir & Shahrukh have also praised him & called him the future of bollywood.
Even all his films have been very very diverse. he doesn’t hestitate to do an offbeat film like a Rocket Singh or WUS or even Barfi.
he’s definitely among the best if not THE best. along with Shahrukh, Aamir & Hrithik, he the best star-actor in the country.

No doubt ranbir is the best actor.but katrina for the charactor of sita is the worst choice.may deepika is better.
Ranbir gets more than he deserves. Even after distributors of Rockstar suffered losses,he hiked his acting fee from 10 crore to 15 crore. In terms of acting he is behind Ajay Devgn. Let him earn one national award first. If he have courage for offbeat roles, Abhay Deol & Farhan Akthar also have that. Even John Abraham have done offbeat film like Water & won Oscar nomination.
Arshad was being sarcastic. I mean if you say Ranbir is a good actor then you go on to say Katrina will play the role of Sita best then if thats not sarcasm then I dont know what is.
Anyway what does Joker Arshad know about acting anyway, hes such a bad actor that he made Sanjay look good in the Munnabhai series and Tusshar look good in the Golmaal Series. Now thats sarcasm…! :-P

Salman only asked for 32 crore for Ek Tha Tiger after giving 3 blockbusters back to back,but Ranbir asked 20 crore after Barfi. Ranbir have good support inside Bollywood & media backing.
SRK & Aamir have acted in offbeat films. Randeep Hooda, Irfan Khan,Abhay Deol & Farhan Akthar have acted in offbeat film. The fact that his films have been successful means that he is a star, but not a great actor.@ Srk fans, how Ranbir become a better actor than Ajay Devgn?
