Sultan is not only setting records at the box office, but the level of advance booking for Sunday is once again – unprecedented. A record number of tickets have already been sold in advance and the total collections from advance sales for Sunday is said to be around 13-15 crore.
This is the sort of advance booking that major event films get for their entire weekend, prior to release.
It’s difficult to predict or analyse where the film can go from here, because the trend has been unlike any other film in the last few years.
If Sultan can touch or cross the 45 crore mark on Sunday, then there are chances of Monday holding up above the 20 crore mark – which would give the film a very good chance of becoming the highest grosser of all time.

@Tiger, our figures are from multiplex chain sources. How can 32 crore worth of ticket be sold? Could be gross. Lots of tickets, especially at smaller centres, are still easily available. No chance of 32 crore worth of tickets being sold in advance.
