The First Look of Shahrukh Khan’s Don 2 is out and we are impressed. The poster does look great – nice fonts and colors. And yes, SRK does look super evil. “Get ready for the Return of the King” Indeed!
Don 2 directed by Farhan Akhtar also stars Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Boman Irani. The film arrives during the Aamir Khan weekend, this year though its SRK who is all set to rule the silver screen during the Christmas and New Year weekend.

“The Return of the king” it was the sequel name lord of the rings. And they copied the tag line from that title. Common yaar when Bollywood ii be original.
BTW the poster looks ok to me, nothing great and extraordinary.

Subhu, haha.. True :) But since SRK is known as the “King of Bollywood”, we thought maybe it was quite simply to hype the return of SRK as Don..
Priyanka, yes.. This one should be better for two reasons. One, its a original script unlike Don 1. Two, Farhan Akhtar is a good director.
Ver tacky! Actually one of the worst psters ever. Well Bollywood have no talent nor creativity considering posters! but expected much much more from it! And WTH was the need for something like “get ready ofr the return of the king..blah..blah” as tagline? was it to attract masses? So pathethic in my opinion. They should have just put Don 2: The Chase Continues as the first one was Don: The Chase Begins Again. One other thing The big symbol does not look anything like D and it blocks SRK’s face. When you already have the D symbol why write the letter D again below and what’s up with the red fonts?
But one thing i liked is that SRK looked like an eveil so i think he’ll deliver a good performance and it’s cool really! Well waiting for the promo now wish it wont disappoint!
Indicine Team: what’s your views?
Indicine Team: Yes Farhan is a good director, he proved it from the way he directed DCH before it was just superb esp for a new dierector. Also I liked Hrithik’s Lakshya it was a good film with a good direction but it was quite unnoticed, sad that Lakshya never got its due. For Don 1, it was not a bad remake, but SRK ruined it in my opinion by his weak portray of Don and his pathethic act as Vijay esp. Now i think this one won’t be about style like the first also looking forward a top-notch performance from SRK it seems that he worked hard for the character. I wish we won’t be disappointed this time.
Priyanka, SRK was outright terrible as Vijay in Don 1.. He sort of repeated his Babloo act from Duplicate and he totally paled in comparison to Big B, who was fantastic as Vijay in the original. Infact Bachchan was better as Vijay, than Don.
Very bad poster actually one of the worst. Can we have a thread of worst poster of all time? I might rate this in top 5.

Thank god the trailer was way better than the poster, the films looks cool and gonna rock. And SRK looked fantastic as DON. I’m not a SRK fan but can’t wait for Don 2!!!
@Priyanka…. SRKs problem is his height and lean physique.. he looks smaller than everyone else on screen.. even smaller than priyanka in few scenes.. hehe.. he always looks small on screen but smaller in such larger than life roles.. he should stick to raj and rahul roles..
Superhero and Dons are not meant for him
And ironically his only two movies this year will be that of a superhero and don.. heheheh.. if one of the them flop, srks self proclaimed king of bollywood title and ‘last superstar of bollywood’ title is gonna be in serious trouble..
IMO though Aamir and Salman have already over taken him.. by quite a distance in India.. hes still king overseas but that doesnt matter much.. its india that does..
and btw i didnt like the don 2 poster..
Sunil is saying superheros and dons cannot be done by SRK…but pls check the box office collection of DON…it was a superhit…and frankly speaking i dont think any of SRK’s commercial film have failed in boxoffice for the last 10 years… so its sure don and Ra 1 is going to be back to back blockbusters.. wat do u think indicine??
@Sunieel: If SRK’s problem is height then what about Aamir? Loool I mean he’s even shorter than SRK.
But the thing is that Aamir is good-looking and still look young, besides he does not look small onscreen, coz he has a huge presence, i.e you hardly notice his lack of height, same with Salman.
With SRK, he is charismatic and a lovely guy who everyone can easily relate to, that’s why everyone loved him, but not anymore.
But seriously what is your problem with height? Height is not everything! I mean isn’t Al Pacino short?
Look at him now, no other actor is like him, If you have a huge presence onscreen even height does not matter, coz people will not notice that right? Maybe because your favourite(Hrithik) is tall and good-looking, but now the short Khans are ahead of him(not including SRK though).
But SRK’s real problem for me is his looks, he looks too old now, i.e +50, though he has the same age of Aamir and Sallu(45)!!! The other two are good-looking and look younger.
As far as acting is concerned, i don’t think SRK is any less than others, in fact he is way ahead of the likes of Salman, Akshay, Hrithik…in acting ability, but his greatest problem that he has killed his crediblity by that Lover Boy Image, watch him in Swades he’s hugely talented, one wonders if he can pull off roles like CDI, Swades…then why he chooses films like OSO, RNBDJ!!
Anyways back to topic, i watched the Trailer and it looks really promising, i liked it better than the poster and SRK looked good. As for Ra.one, not excited at all i don’t think it will work.
@Indicine Team: You’re right, SRK’s act as Vijay was Horrible, absoluly terrible. It was a good film(Don), but he ruined the whole flick unfortunaltely, hope he won’t repeat it again.
And about Ra.One i lost all faith in SRK the producer after disatsters like AKK!!!!
I mean what the hell was he thinking about when he produced that flick? Seriously!!!
Also the director of Ra.One is…no words… so not excepting that much from it, also i don’t think it will break records.
BTW for me the only two contemporaries who are ahead of SRK at this time in acting ability are: Aamir and Ajay only.

Liked it – nothing great but good in parts. Liked the visuals on the bridge and the scene at the end with SRK in car. SRK & Priyanka are looking good together. Did not like Boman Irani in the first one – he seemed miscast but like his bearded look here.
Like the BG music when SRK is lighting up the lighter.
Did not like those standard explosions. The dialogues could have been better though but I doubt these will be in the movie – I think there are only for the promo.
Liked the part where he says about sunane apni kahani but found the word “aaya hoon palat ke” weird. Shouldn’t that be aaya hoon phir se or may be aaya hoon wapas?
The last line is a direct translation of “No one can stop me now” which sounds better in English. It would have been better if he did his evil laughter after the line.
Btw, they should have shown a glimpse of HR.. also, how is Arjun cycling like a champ.. wasnt he crippled? Some new character? Also is it just me or does the promo seems slightly massy?

I hope movie’s gonna be good.But it would have been a lot better if green fonts as in first DON-the chase begins.It was a lot more attractive & thrilling ,in some sense.Plus the tag provided is not good .As like mentioned above it should have been”THE CHASE CONTINUES”.But I think film will rock.
