Colors Screen Awards 2013 Nominations

The nominations for Colors Screen Awards 2012 / 2013 are out. Anurag Basu’s Barfi has received the most number of nominations, followed by English Vinglish and Vicky Donor.

Surprisingly, the very best (and most deservingly) films of the year have received the Best Film nominations. Popular films like Agneepath, Rowdy Rathore, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Dabangg 2, Talaash and Ek Tha Tiger have not been nominated. Probably the first time in a long time, A.R. Rahman hasn’t been nominated in the Best Music category.

  • 1)The Best Choreography should also have included “Aga Bai” from Aiyya.
It was one of the best dances seen.

    2) Wondering how there is no nomination for Housefull 2 under comic section? It was the funniest movies of 2012.

    3) Best Debut female doesn’t contain Pam from Hate Story?? She acted well in it, better than other nominations.

  • Most common sentence when it comes to awards is—

    SRK buys awards…

my question is…Are salman, akshay, ajay so poor to buy a single award in their whole life?

Their fans say sallu biggest award is the no. of footfalls & BO collections…
then why does sallu bhai attend these awards and dance if he isnt interested in awards..?
and why sallu fans wait/watch these awards more passionately than other fans if they know sallu’s not gonna get any of them..?

  • Aamir Khan doesn’t believe in award shows because he feels that award shows are biased. Salman Khan will attend the award show and he will perform there however, he doesn’t accept awards because he too feels award shows are unfair. And the fact that Akshay, Ajay and Paresh Rawal not nominated for Best Actor (lead) makes this award show ridiculous. I am sure Best Actor award will go to SRK or Ranbir because those awards are already bought.

  • @Mohammed
I wonder what SRK doesn’t buy, dis implies he’s d richest man in d world/universe since he buys
everything because i’m sure this position & awards are damn well very expensive.

Oh please, grow up. This is way too pathetic. No need 2 b jealous. just be happy 4 him or just
simply ignore him. Don’t kill urself over every breath dat he takes. U dont like him, why bother.

  • @ Rj Yes, eveb Salman, Aamir, Akshay and Ajay can buy those little awards but they will not lower their standards to SRK’s level. Your ego won’t allow you to admit that Salman Khan IS the current king of bollywood and box office king. He has a lot of money and he will use his money for charity and not those awards. Salman attends award shows only to have fun and meet his friends and he doesn’t take these shows seriously.

  • @Rj….wat u said is 100% correct….sallu, akki fans know they will never win an award for crap masala movies…and so make crap excuses when others win…especially if srk wins one!!

@mohammed…..sallu feels awards are unfair bcoz he didn’t win a award for a long time and then he started making masala movies like dabangg for which he knows he will never ever get a real award…

sallu has never even got the oppurtunity to reject awards bcoz till date he has never won a single award!!

Only aamir has the right to feel unfairly treated bcoz he didn’t awards for some really good movies!!

  • @ Nakul well, I am not jealous of him but you SRK fans are jealous of us Salman fans. You say Salman is a south indian copy cat, cheap hero who plays cheap action movies etc blah blah blah crap and you guys don’t have any valid point to back it up. You guys are jealous of his position and by the way, Salman has given more blockbusters than any other heroes.

  • @ OUTLANDER another SRK fan with same lame argument. Well, SRK’s movies haven’t even shattered Salman’s non holiday movie ( Ready) are you serious? SRK can never do roles such as Chulbul Pandey, Radhe, Prem (HAHK) what’s wrong with masala movies? Is it written in our constitution that making masala movies is ilegal huh?

  • SRK is the only superstar who chats wid fans regularly unlike others who use twitter as publicity platform, still people call him the most EGOISTIC person.

  • Aamir did SMJ on TV…Sallu Bhai openly do publicity of BEING HUMAN everyday, still SRK won UNESCO Award for charity?

  • Sallu’s awards :

award number 1. He is totally ignored because he has highest number of flops (around 50-51 films )…..

award number 2. Salu has 36 flop films with budget less than 30 cr.

award number 3. Salu has 13 flop movies in row.

award number 4. he has ZERO best actor awards. Waiting for award from rediff. ha ha ha….. number 1 star…. not having single awards…big joke..He will not retire until he gets one

  • For me OMG was the best movie of 2012 but is not nominated at all, ranbir is sure to win the best actor award.
For all salman haters, just remember this : RAJNI KANTH, SALMAN KHAN & AAMIR KHAN are way above & beyond these cheap valueless awards(except the national awards) and their biggest awards & rewards are their fans love& appreciation, they simply dont care about these cheap ‘fixed & buy-able’ awards. Salman himself said in an interview that he is not the most perfect actor and nor does he aspires to be one, all he wants is his fans love, appreciation and acclaim and wants to entertain them as long as possible. These cheap awards are for “AWARD-HUNGRY” & “AWARD- AT-ANY-COST” type of lesser mortals like mr.srk (the greatest actor ever because he has won more ‘awards’ than any other actor??????). Even if salman wins any critics award for his outstanding performance in D2, his fans will not take it seriously as they very well know that ranbir or hrithik are the more worthy contenders but srk fans can never acknowledge the fact that srk doesnt deserve any award this year nor some of his earlier awards.

  • Hrithik, ranvir, priyanka, vidya sridevi dserv the best actor awrdz….bst music should be vishal shekhar for soty…sonu nigam shld b nominated for abhi mujhme kahin….agneepath shld be nominated in bst movies list…..

  • @ rj sallu doesn’t buy award becoz he is an honest person…not like srk greedy for awards!!!

& yes boxoffice collection is the biggest award becoz the it tells millions of people watched and loved the actor’s films…not like some 5,6 critics sitting together and giving award to the actor who pays them the highest!! lol!

  • @ rj not only salman but even amitaabh bachan , kareena kapoor , & many other great actors have admitted that these all awards are purely fake….

  • & by the way who cares about these awards..srk’s career is almost over as a lead actor……his film collects even les then ranbir kapoor’s barfi !! lol!! barfi 106 cr>> jthj 101 cr!!…

yup srk needs awards…becoz compared to other big stars his films no longer work….so to remain in limelight he just buys awards or slaps a certain shirish kunder!

  • Aamir never attends any award function. Reason – he knows it is fake and just given to please a few stars.

Salman got the best supporting actor award in that silly romantic movie of SRK, (which thankfully i don’t remember), and he rightfully announced on stage that Biku Mhatre (Manoj Bajpai) for Satya deserves it.

It was the biggest insult to Filmfare, and guess what, from then on he was in their black book.

Another noticeable factor of cheap filmfare award was that of Tabu not even getting a nomination for Chandini Bar, while she went on to win National award for the same movie.

If awards were the true reflection of acting, SRK would have won just one – for Darr (best villian). Rest all are fake, if you look at the other nominations and the ones that were left out when he won.

1994 Shahrukh Khan – Baazigar (Aamir Khan – Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke was far better)

1996 Shahrukh Khan – Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Aamir still better as Tapori in Rangeela)

1998 Shahrukh Khan – Dil To Pagal Hai (How can you not give to Kamal Hasan for Chachi 420.. SRK beating Kamal is the biggest joke)

1999 Shahrukh Khan – Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as Rahul Khanna (for what? skating around in college? Aamir again did the best tapori guy’s role that all still remember in Ghulam)

2003 Shahrukh Khan – Devdas as Devdas Mukherjee (No match for the Ajay’s role of Mallik in Company)

2005 Shahrukh Khan – Swades as Mohan Bhargav (for a flop film, while Amitabh had a memorable role in Khakee playing the brilliant but helpless cop to perfection)

2008 Shahrukh Khan – Chak De! India as Coach Kabir Khan (This is okay, but guess who was in competition with him, and may have won if not for his age – Darsheel Safary – Taare Zameen Par)

2011 Shahrukh Khan – My Name Is Khan as Rizwan Khan (for a copy cat hollywood hit movie? Ajay and Ranbir were far better)

So there it is, the so called fake awards of SRK.

  • @tejas..

SRK ne poore career mei 74 movie nahi ki aur tu meko 74 flop bata raha hai…

Apne guru ke flops yaad kar raha hai kya?
