Ayushman Khurana – Sonam Kapoor
Ayushman Khurana and Sonam Kapoor have been signed to play the lead in Yashraj Films’ next, produced by Aditya Chopra. The film will be a romantic comedy about struggling lovers.
Sonam will play the character of Mayera Sehgal, while Ayushman (of Vicky Donor fame) will be portraying the character of Mohit Chaddha. The two believe that love can survive on passion even in times of financial crisis.
However, Mayera’s father and bureaucrat, V.K. Sehgal (character played by Rishi Kapoor), disagrees with their ideology and puts up challenges in front of them.
The untitled film will be directed by Nupur Asthanam, who last directed the moderately successful ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’. The story is written by Habib Faisal.
The film is expected to go on floors in February 2013 and will release in the second half of the year.

Why are they putting this poor chap in a movie with Sonam? It will flop for sure! He’s so talented & deserves a better co-star. She has no charisma & nobody cares to see her on screen anyway. Blah…..
