Vamsi Entertainments are going to felicitate Dasari Narayan Rao for his successful career as director on the occasion of his birthday and 40 other directors will also be felicitated on the same dias.
Dasari Narayana Rao, who had directed over 140 films in his career, is celebrating his birthday on May 4. He is presently holding the responsibilities as a Union minister. Vamsi Entertainments had decided to felicitate this great director of Telugu film industry on the occasion of his birthday. A grand function is being arranged for the purpose at Ravindra Bharati on May 6. Dasari is going to celebrate his ‘Shashti Poorthi’ (Fruitful completion of 60 years of life) on the occasion. Vamsi Ramaraju says, ‘After felicitating Dasari Narayana Rao, we are going to felicitate 40 others directors on the same dais. Moreover, financial assistance would be provided to the directors, who were economically poor. Likewise, 70 poor students would be provided with a scholarship of Rs 1,000 each.’ The programme would begin with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Vijayanirmala. Dr C Narayana Reddy would preside over the programme, while K Viswanath, VB Rajendra Prasad, K Raghvendra Rao, KB Tilak and other prominent fil personalities would attend the programme
