Children’s film ‘Durgi’ completes shooting

The shooting of ‘Durgi’ directed by Anand and produced by Ch Babji and Thalla Balachandra Reddy on the banner of Sri Chakra Movies was completed recently. Producers say, ‘We had a continuous schedule in Chodavaram, Madugula, Boddurevu and other areas near Visakhapatnam for about 25 days and completed the shooting of the entire film. We are yet to shoot some patchwork, which would be shot in and around Hyderabad.’ Director Anand says, ‘It is the story of a girl called ‘Durgi’, who fought against certain social stigmas in a tribal hamlet. How she saved her self from such social stigma, besides saving others is the subject.’ Babu Roja, Baby Romeo, Baby Sai Pragna, Master Sri Sai, Kalyani, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Anand, Dharmasri, Neelima Naidu are in the cast. Story is by P Sambasiva Rao, dialogues are by P Ramakrishna, camera is Prakash, lyrics are by Andesri, music is by Quddus, while CB Reddy is presenter.
