Yet another talent blossoms from the Mahesh Bhatt’s camp. Kunal who had assisted director Mohit Suri in Zeher, Kalyug and Woh Lamhe is all set to don the director’s cap. His first flick titled Jannat: In Search Of Heaven, stars bollywood’s serial kisser Emraan Hashmi and former Miss World (2005) Sonal Chauhan.

Jannat is about love, betting and match fixing. The story primarily is a love story, where a middle-class boy falls head-over-heels on love with a girl working in the call center at the first site. To fullfil the wants and needs of his girl friend and to run his relationship smoothly, he has to get rich. And he takes the easy route to earn lots of money faster – gambling.

It’s set against the backdrop of Cricket and match fixing in cricket. With a concept that has never been touched before, the movie will hit the silver screens on May 16, 2008.

Having had three musical hits earlier with Pritam, Mukesh Bhatt has once again roped in Pritam Chakroborty to compose music for Jannat. And with lyrics by Sayeed Quadri this album has a lot to offer for all the music lovers.
