After delivering duds like Aag and Darling, Ram Gopal Varma is all set to takeover the big screen. The most anticipated movie of this year, the sequel to 2005 blockbuster Sarkar titled Sarkar Raj is RGV’s next major flick. The movie has already created a big buzz for few reasons, being :
– This will be Abhishek and Aishwarya’s first film post their wedding
– Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan share the screen space for the first time.
The first look of the movie was revealed on Sunday, the 20th of April, to a selected audience in Mumabi. Director Ram Gopal Varma, Amitabh Bachchan accompained by wife Jaya Bachchan, Amar Singh and many others where present for the occasion. Aishwarya and Abhishek, who is shooting for his film Dostana in Miami, joined the event via video conference from Miami as it was the couple’s first wedding anniversary and Big B insisted that the couple should be seen together on this special day. In fact, Bachchan had even asked Ram Gopal Varma to create a special look for the event. Varma gave it the ambience of Sarkar’s Den, which Bachchan fell in love with.
The excitement was high in the air over the launch of Sarkar Raj and the wedding anniversary of its lead pair.
With a lot in stake, Sarkar Raj will hit the silver screen on June 6, 2008. Don’t miss it !!!
