No I wouldnt put Ajay above Aamir- in too many movies Ajay looks lazy n just a passanger- his script sense is not as good as Aamir n hes done too many crappy mivies supporting this belief.

Best performance in last 15 yrs (this millennium only) by an actor has to be that of Tara Singh by Sunny Deol from Gadar followed by Aamirs portrayal of Bhuvan from Lagaan, then Ajay from Legend of Bhagat Singh. After that my vote goes to Ajay as Sultan from OUATIM and Aamir as PK…!
PS Question is to vague but if its about the actors mentioned only then you need to look at the last 30 yrs covering their careers or so which complicates things further as actors like Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Sunny Deol also gave numerous stellar performances too.
Over that time period my fav performance was probably Anil Kapoor as Lakhan.

My @ number 1 pick is Ajay Devgn. Not so good looking sorry Ajay fans I don’t mean otherwise. I agree with Mr Javed. Removing his unnecessary films His dialogue delivery is 2nd to non. His eyes his silence his rocking of chair in outim his lighting of cigarette makes you think what next is this fellow going to do. @ Number 2 pick is Shah Rukh khan. Arguably the biggest star in the world and most popular. His romance his signature love expression chaal his style his jovial character. Such a standard actor. I no missed any film of this great great actor. Dilip Kumar Sir made a comment on him which translates how wonderful this biggest star fan career won hearts both in our bharat and abroad. My @ 3rd pick is Aamir khan. The perfectionist. Whatever he touches becomes gold. He is a genius, I don’t like his intolerant topic but apart that he is a gem of an actor. Not as popular as Shah rukh khan here in Assam but a very respected superstar. The reason I put him 3 Rd is because he done few films to judge. My @ 4th pick is Hrithik Rosh. Greek god. His acting is acceptable people get mistaken with his looks as a excuse for bring so talented but let me tell you apart from looks he done so very good films like knph Agneepath znmd. We are waiting for Mohenjodaro. Finally my last pick @number 5 is Salman khan. It will be unjust because he has court case or does remakes but to be the biggest star currently in India that alone qualifies him to be among the top 5 actors. He can overact unnecessary can cry as if he is laughing but still able to command crowds even with average films like jai ho and prdp. Bajrangi bhaijan was one movie that re discovered him.hope he sticks with good movies not few senseless remakes same goes to Ajay. Agar if it’s to release 1 film a year as long as it will be appreciated that’s all than to be releasing plenty films a year but still far away from even top 5. Ranbir Akshay take note. My best performance from them are as followed.
