In the last few days, there have been reports that Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger, popular in India for his role in ‘Terminator 2’, has signed Rajnikanth’s ‘Enthiran 2’ directed by Shankar.
While we can confirm that Arnold hasn’t yet officially signed the film, Shankar has approached the actor for the role.
“It’s true that Arnold has been approached to play the antagonist in the sequel. But he has not signed the project yet. The star will soon participate in a trial test for the role in Los Angeles” a source close to the film said.

There are rumours that Arnold has been offered Rs 100 crore to play the role, in the film that also stars Rajnkanth as the main hero and Amy Jackson as his leading lady.
Sources say, the budget of the film will be in excess of Rs 250 crore. It will also be shot in 3D. Music will be composed by A.R Rahman.
‘Enthiran 2’ will go on floors early next year.
Our take: Arnold’s presence will most certainly tremendously increase the excitement around ‘Enthiran 2’, but casting a top Bollywood actor as villain would probably make much better business sense. If the ‘100 crore’ offer to Arnold is true, the film would go way over budget. Casting a Bollywood actor would not only ensure that the costs are under control, but the film then has the potential to perform well all over India. This is not good step by SHANKAR Bcoz 100 CR. is too much.
SHANKAR is great director but He Should learn something from RAJAMOULI.
BAHUBALI 1st part broke all records in India & movie performed brilliantly in overses too with PRABHAS,RANA,TAMANNA.They are not very known face in INDIA,SOUTH INDIA & in Oversees.
So RAJAMOULI invested all his money in VFX & SFX effect instead of ACTORS & Now the result is We r eagerly waiting for 2nd part.
Some sources said AAMIR wanted to play both Antagonist & Protagonist role in ROBOT 2.
Which was not possible due to RAJNI SIR.
But if SHANKAR would paid good amt.then I think AAMIR would be part of ROBOT 2.
BUDGET would be around 300-350 Cr. If anything will go wrong,
(Like I & Terminator Genisys which recd.-mixed wom.)

Shankar is not at all a director,he should direct horror movie instead of these kind of mahacraps.I didn’t liked robot/enthiran even a bit.and when I watched ‘I’ believe me I suddenly felt I already lost my senses the same happened before when I watched salamn/arjun kapoor movies in bollywood.the directors of south are the crapiest and their heroes are even more pathetic then themselves,till I never watched a single south movie at theatre.those director doesn’t know how to direct and the heroes doesn’t know how to act,ROFL.good combination,only survivor is vfx /Hollywood+Bollywood connection,2rs cheapest industry’s beggar looking movies,lol.

in order to truly make this movie a global film, the cast should be srk vs arnold. rajni should not be cast in this film simply bcuz no matter how much craze south people show towards rajni, no one in overseas knows who rajni is. only srk & AB are known worldwide as indian stars & thats a true fact.

The script n contents of d movie should come to mind first not d actors. That’s how Hollywood advances. The quality must be the priority. If he has the script ready then do reasonable analysison starcast. Either Shahrukh or Aamir will best suit the character. Mr. Perfectionist always demands content driven film. While Shahrukh focus on wholesome entertainment. Even Hrithik could give jawdrops. Rajni too old to perform lead hero maybe for South at least. The idea of having Aamir in Robot 2 was thunderstorms for many. But sad it couldn’t be materialized. Next option G.ONE!!! NOT ARNOLD PLEASE!!!
