2015 proved to be a turning point in the careers of two promising future stars, Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh, who were seen in mega-grossers like Bajirao Mastani, Dilwale and ABCD 2.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor, touted as the most promising actor of his generation, had the worse year of his career when Bombay Velvet didn’t even manage a face-saving opening at the box office. A film made on a budget of 100 crore plus, finished with lifetime business of Rs 24 crore. All eyes were then on Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha, a film also starring Deepika Padukone in the lead. The result was better compared to a disaster like Bombay Velvet, but Tamasha was a box office failure nonetheless.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Sidharth Malhotra also delivered the biggest disappointments of their careers, as the audience rejected Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and Brothers.
Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor, who was riding high on the success of Gunday and 2 States, opened the year with Tevar when PK was still going strong at the box office. After a decent weekend, Tevar didn’t sustain and eventually failed at the box office.
As for Shahid Kapoor, 2016 was no different from the rest of his career. Almost all his films hold promise, but very few deliver.
2016 will be a big year for all the actors that we just mentioned. Varun Dhawan returns with Dishoom, Ranveer Singh will be seen in Aditya Chopra’s directorial venture Befikre, Ranbir Kapoor has Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Anurag Basu’s much-delayed Jagga Jasoos.
Arjun will be seen in Half Girlfriend and R.Balki’s Ki and Ka. Aditya Roy Kapur, who makes a comeback after the disastrous Daawat-e-Ishq, makes a comeback with Fitoor. Shahid’s big release for 2016 will be Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon and Udta Punjab.
Sidharth Malhotra has Kapoor & Sons and Baar Baar Dekho.
Ramesh Taurani’s son Girish returns after 2013’s Ramaiya Vastavaiya in a film titled Loveshhuda. Sushant has MS Dhoni biopic.

I used to be Ranbir Kapoor’s fan sometime ago but not now.
I like VARUN DHAWAN the most out of young generation and then ranveer Singh.
I hate Arjun Kapoor most followed by Shahid Kapoor( who I don’t believe is a young star).

Ranveer and Varun will further cement their positions from where they left in 2015..I just hope Ranbir makes a grand comeback.. Sushant is very much underrated compared to many of these youngistaans.

Only waiting for sid movies he is way ahead than all youngster varun is just a overrated star like Ranbir backed by family background but sid earned the place where he is & he is the only youngster I believe who will be the lead of big budget action entertainer movies.
After bang bang 2 he will gain top spot among all of these. I don’t think any guy would have matched the rowdy look of sid in ek villain, he is just made for action entertainer like Salman & hritik all the best sid u have lots of genuine fan like me to back u.

I like Varun the most, because he has proven himself both commercially and critically.He has been versatile. He can do roles which are intense(Badlapur), dance(ABCD2), Romance(HSKD), do comedy(MTH) and now he is trying action. Also he is very conscious of the producers and distributors who put money in his films and thus has never given a flop.
Waiting for Befikre on 9th December. Ranveer Singh is the best youth bollywood actor. His twitter following is 2 times higher than even Varun. Ranveer Singh the best the best.
