AAmir is now on the highest post only because of Dhoom 3,where Dhoom itself is a Brand. In SRK films King Khan himself is the Brand. whoever act in Dhoom series ,it will be Block buster.We have seen the example of Thalaash where there is no brand. Lets see, what will happen to PK.

Diwali is the biggest holiday period.
I am in Mumbai, and still there are people who are on extended leave in offices, while schools and colleges are set to reopen by 5th and some by 10th.
Also it was a cool climate since the past 4-5 days, so no excuse of people being indoors due to october heat.
Hence, being the biggest circuit that gets major collections, without any competition and holidays with all other advantages, HNY had the best chance for breaking any records, but is currently looking like not happening.
HNY won’t cross KICK, Srk fans ki jal rahi hai ab…

No doubts Srk dominated it but Aamir is slowly dethroning him. Salman’s PRDP will be his first $20 million or 100 crs in overseas. But most important fact is domestic collections. For example Swades was Super Hit/BB in overseas but Average/Flop in domestic. Check Srk filmography Swades is not listed as Hit !!!!!! So domestic verdict always counts. Yes, overseas will help worldwide collections but verdict matters a lot !!!!!!!!!
