The first song promo of Happy New Year titled ‘Indiawaale’ is out. The patriotic dance anthem composed by Vishal – Shekhar promises to reach out to both the classes and masses.
A source close to Shahrukh Khan has also said that the strategy for the song promo would be similar to the trailer “We have planned a nice strategy for the film. The trailer has already created waves in the industry and it has already made people aware of what ‘Happy New Year’ is all about and how the film looks. We don’t need to harp on that anymore. Similarly, we want our songs to reach out to everyone across the globe hence ‘Indiawaale’ will be launched on all possible platforms, except WhatsApp”

Musically its nothing special- lyrically its poor but catchy nonetheless…! Visually its an eye sore- too blingy for me- typical of a Farah film- too much gloss and not enough substance. OTT at its best or worst depending on your view…
Normally our Teesra Khan Farah has to teach our Sarkar basic dance steps like how far to outstretch your arms or how to tilt your head back without straining neck muscles but now she also has to teach the two left flat footed Boman n Sonu to dance too… Poor Farah was getting nowhere so hence she went for an even bigger OTT background than normal just to take peoples glare away from the poor dancing on offer..!
