Not too long ago, Shahrukh Khan had said in an interview that his upcoming film ‘FAN’ does not require a popular leading lady. But since Yash Raj Films was extremely secretive about the entire project, very little information about the film had leaked.
A source close to YRF had earlier informed us that they weren’t too keen on announcing the name of the leading lady either.
Now, the mainstream media has reported that supermodel Waluscha De Sousa, who was seen opposite SRK in a Hyundai commercial, was signed to play the lead opposite the superstar.

A leading daily quoted a source as saying ”It’s not a regular flick that has quintessential roles for a hero and heroine. The casting process of the film has been unusual. They’ve picked Waluscha, who is not from the industry, as the leading lady. She was a prominent supermodel after participating in a beauty pageant in 2000, but she took a break after marrying fashion choreographer Marc Robinson. Now, they have separated. Waluscha took special training in acting for this film. She has already started shooting with Shahrukh in south Mumbai and at an Andheri studio.”
The source also added that Waluscha wasn’t too keen on doing the film as she had no experience in acting. She had to undergo training before she started shooting for the film.
Actresses like Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone, who starred opposite Shahrukh Khan in their debut films, have gone on to make it big in the industry. Is Waluscha De Sousa the next big thing?

@js,ha ha…you know your comparison is childish.BTW Katrina’s debut was in 2003’s boom and after the hat she did ‘sarkar’ with BIGB.and with salman she has average/flop in mpkk.so it’s not salman it’s akshay Kumar who has a huge contribution in Katrina’s career, after that she made bhai’s career in ett.so one mistake made by bhai fans rectified.
About sonakshi ,people didn’t saw lootera.due to the types of cheapest masala films did by sonakshi.recently she bashed by our @indicine team for her performance in action jackson.so another mistake rectified. Though bhai has no contribution in Katrina’s career,but katrina didn’t act so well in rajneeti,her best performance is with KING KHAN’S JTHJ,then akki’s namastey London.
Now coming to DP ,you might forgot her performance in cocktail,ram-leela,lafangey parindey and some bothers.even her non classic performances like OSO,CE is far better than sonakshi’s lifetime performance,lol.coming to anushaka,who can forget her best epic classic unforgottenable performance in RNBDJ a d another short classic performance in JTHJ.also.some wannabe classic performance in pk.now all mistakes rectified.
