Rajkumar Hirani is one of the best directors this decade with blockbusters like Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai and now 3 Idiots to his credit. He is probably the only director to have a 100% success ratio both with critics and audience (box office).
Hirani broke all formulaic conventions associated with our masala-filled films and effortlessly blended comedy with several short socially-relevant messages in the 2003 cult classic Munnabhai M.B.B.S. The film went on to win many awards including the National Award for the Most Popular Film.
Then came Lage Raho Munnabhai, a film that made us laugh, cry and just feel good about everything around us. It also re-introduced us to Gandhism a.k.a Gandhigiri and Hirani touched upon several issues like superstitions, parental neglect, corruption – he magically ensured none of it sounded preachy. The film won almost every award it was nominated for, including 4 National awards.
Hirani then decided to break away from Munnabhai films and team up with Aamir Khan for 3 Idiots. With a similar feel-good theme, 3i is one of the biggest money spinners in the history of our film industry.

Quiet happy to find Munnabhai MBBS and 3 idiots battling for top spot with Lage Raho a distant third
at the moment,always felt the entertainment was little lacking in the latter,though conceptwise LRM
was far ahead.The current hype around 3 idiots ,though,might be reflected in the poll to give biased
results.I must say that all three (including 3 idiots) are among the best films ever made .
i think message of this film (3 idiots) way better than munnabhai series and entertainment value are also way ahead i think it is the one of the most entertaining movie of hindi cinema maybe best of its genre my whole family and circle loved it

My best rajkumar hirani movie is Lage raho munnabhai, though i have not watch 3idiot yet, but so par is Lage raho. Is the film that has many qualities be it comedy, emotion, romantic n above all patriotic n every part made it with e-lan.
Munnabhai MBBS because it had clean n entertaining humour than 3idiots.The movie was really well scripted n was also well researched.
