Most over-rated actress is much similar to yesterday’s Most over-rated actors poll. Today its the turn of the ladies.
They are hot, sexy, glamorous and manage to attract audience to theatres with their sex appeal alone. But most female stars today are non-actors. We truly miss someone like Madhuri Dixit who ruled more than a million hearts, a complete package whether it is song and dance routines, screen presence or onscreen histrionics. Today, its all about wearing the skimpiest of clothes and hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Fortunately though, we do have a few able performers. Rani Mukherji was brilliant in Black, Kajol continues to be one of the best there is, Priyanka Chopra is improving with each film and some others like Kangna Ranaut, Asin, Genelia D’Souza could be superstars of tomorrow.
Unfortunately, there are a few, who probably don’t deserve to be right there at the top. Go ahead and vote for your most over-rated actress. Hope we did not miss out on any popular actress.

Fathiya………….. The time in which the older version of Umrao jaan was released, All the movies used to have flaws in them as the directors were not that smart as they are right now…. Even you can find the flaws in the biggest hit of all time “Sholay” as directors used to take audience for granted in that era….but now, they take each and every single thing into their notice while making the movie as the audience is also very smart now……………… But the fact is “Genuine is Genuine” and Old Umrao Jaan was good as well as Rekha as they were genuine but the new version is faked and i don’t like it at all….. May be you are right that we are not accepting the copy version because we already saw the old version before. Same thing happened with me while watching “Don- The Remake” as i couldn’t accept Shahrukh doing the role of Amitabh Bachchcan in it. Shahrukh no doubt has done a good job in it but you don’t like him because you already knew that he is copying Amitabh Bachchan in the movie…… And those who saw new version first and then older version might not like Amitabh Bachchan in the older version as that movie didn’t have the same locations/Cinematography etc. etc….. like the new version has…..
So, you might have had different opinion about new Umrao Jaan if you would have seen the Older version before but now, it can’t be changed as you saw the new version first and then the older one……
Fathiya………..Believe me People who belong to that era of 80’s like my parents or your parents don’t even bother to watch the movies getting released right now as according to their perspective, the movies now are just time pass and vulgar……..No Subject/No lesson etc. etc…..
Anyway, the first thing i will do after Ramadan is to watch “Provoked” as you have really convinced me to do that because I really want to know if Aishwarya can act and touch my heart with her performance….. I don’t know why, but whenever I see Aish being serious or crying on screen and desperately trying to force her viewer also cry with her, I start laughing……. I don’t know, may be it’s her beautiful face that always stops me feeling bad for her…… Even in “Mohabbatein” where she committed suicide. The viewer was supposed to cry but i really started laughing by the way she did it……… How stupid it was?????

Fahad: you’ve said it.. the directors in the past were not so smart.. so they used to make mistakes in their movies and had flaws.. I remember when I saw the movie Sangrash for Dilip Kumar ( and I was a little girl, a kid) I laughed at a scene Dilip Kumar didn’t hv a beard.. and while he was trying to go and meet the girl.. when he arrives there.. Dilip Kumar was with a beard and a thick one!!! haha.. were the directors in the past that stupid or they thought that the audience is stupid?! I was a kid and noticed that! and I remembered this scene because I saw it for 2nd time a few months ago because the movie had 2 great great songs which I used to love and till today.. I love them.
Let me give u an example: u got an old camera, and u got a new one with the new technology.. and the new one is much better than the old one, same as some other supplies, etc.. so why do u stick to the old one if the old one wasn’t that good to use in the current time.. lots of things we stopped using them because the technology brings us everyday new & developed stuff.. so do the movies.. some movies – and not all of them – expired.. not good anymore for the audience to watch, and when a an old movie got a good script, a nice story like Umrao Jaan or Satyam Shivam Sundaram which also needs a remake by some brilliant directors.. so why not?! It’s not also that I loved UJ because I saw the new version first.. yeah.. I saw it first and found it a very good movie in terms of direction, production, cinematography, performance, songs, script, and I never concentrate on some minor stuff in any movie as some ppl do.. I always concentrate on the main points which I mentioned above.. I don’t concentrate on – as someone said on this website once – that Luknow ppl didn’t wear beards and in the movie they do.. in Luknow they didn’t have mountains.. and in the movie there was!! what the hell?! that’s only a movie and not a reality show to be perfect 100% as it was in the past ( Aishwarya/Rekha also don’t look like the real character.. the real Umrao & Nawab.. do they?!)
If the beared or a weg looked so fake..yeah.. it really affect any good movie and ruins it all, and till today some directors don’t concnetrate on all that!) but in Umrao Jaan & Jodha Akbar all these were perfect, didn’t look so fake. ( Thank God that JA didn’t fail at the box office.. Fahad: if u loved the movie and found it good, then u heard that it failed to please the audience.. wouldn’t u be really surprised?!) this way I was surprised when UJ failed at the box office!!
About Don, neither the original nor the remake pleased me ( and shahrukh doesn’t fit in these kind of rolls, but as a villain lover in Darr or Anajm or Baazigar.. yeah.. but not as a criminal)

This actress is just good, but many people said she is the BEST in this world. WTF! Also some people called her BRILLIANT. Duh! Most of her films were cheesy and nothing substantial in it. Much better actresses than this Kajol are: Karisma Kapoor, Tabu and Urmila Matondkar.
Rani Mukerji is the best actress so far, bollywood doesn’t maintain the culture of remebrance, otherwise, Rani’s name would have being on the top ten list today. All bollywood know is big B and his counterparts, they have forgetten Rani because they think she is old and they forgot their so called aish is older than Rani. Rani has not signed new movie presently but her past performances shows she is truely a genuis. Kajol got caught the eye of people bcs of srk who claims to be the king of bollywood. to me, aish is not at all rated, search the web and read peoples openion abt her, wether she is the best or not has nothing to do with me after all acting is to their own credit and not me.
No body ever included Vidya Balan in the list or is it bcs she is not connected with any big actor, this girl has got natural talent which she could use to over come the so called top actresses like (Priyanka, kareena, bips and kat) if she is given a chance, just watch parineeta.

Christopher: Fardeen in the industry quite a long time.. but still.. he’s not that talented.. he needs to work harder on his roles.. he wasn’t bad in the movies Heyy Baby, No Entry, and he wasn’t also bad in Dulha Mil Gaya.. he did well, but he’s not one of those actors who got a strong chemistry on the screen.. now also he gained weight..he gained weight after marriage.. so he must work also on his look as well as his performance.. I think he needs a very strong role that he proves himself as a good actor.

Amrita rao, tabu more deserve to be on that position. But, if we connect this with ‘vote for popular artist’, we can get kareena is a top over rated actress and she’s top popular too. according to me most over rated actress :
1. Katrina : she needs many many many training about acting. Work for many comedy movies, couldn’t make her good by far. Rajneeti only her films was good. But it is’nt enough for her yet. Because she’s not a main part of that.
2. Kangana ranaut : I don’t know, she looks very not natural. I said in my word is freez act.
And the best actrees ever after sridevi session are :
1. Kajol : she has natural act, her eyes even could talk much in act. She can dance well, ry, smile, her body languange, all of hers can act very well.

yeah, and who are said kajol is good because over SRK, it’s a big hoax. SRK only meet her chemistry with her. The other his co star, just like his daughter or not really pair him in film.
