I was impressed by Priyanka’s performance in Fashion (but not in Dostana), as well as Aishwariya in Jodha Akbar (but not in Sarkar Raaj)…
I wish anyone of these 2 former beauty queens to win the award….they were at their best performances ever.
I think Asin, Prachi & Anushka must be under best debutant of 2008 and not under best actress of the year ( About Adha I don’t know if she’s new and 1920 was her 1st movie or not) The most deserving actress, and for sure, is Priyanka. Aishwariya’s acting was good in JA but this was her only movie in the whole year as well as Kajol ( and indicine team: do u really think that Vidya’s acting was so good in KK?!! she didn’t perform well so she doesn’t deserve it) and even Genelia D’souza, her role in JTYJN was so easy to handle!)
If we’ve to be fair in our decision, Priyanka must win all the awards as best actress and in all the awards functions this year and not only in star screen awards. She really deserves it, I loved her acting in both Fashion & Dostana.
Aiswarya rai for me, her acting in jodha akbar was strong in a restraint manner.there wasnt a moment for overacting! She was regal and true as jodha! Truly impressive. Other actress has to be priyanka who was good in fashion

Aishwarya acting in jodha akbar was powerful without a moment of overacting! A certain restraint manner that was refreshing! Also she looked JUST STUNNING! As the fury rajput princess! But i must admit priyanka was also good in fashion, NOT BETTER THOUGH! What can i say? May the real miss world please STAND UP?
Genelia acting in Jane tu ya jane na was supeb and she did well act like a innocent and cute girl. She has a natural beuty.

The nomination is for best actress so i think Anushka and Asin should not nominate in this category.so i voted for Priyanka CHopra because she act very well in Fashion.
MR SUDEEP: i think Anushka performance is much better than Asin,i am not saying that Asin is not a good acterss she act very well in Ghajni but Anushka performance in RNBdJ was much more powerfull than Asin
