The much awaited theatrical trailer of Veer is out! And the film written by Salman Khan himself has a Jodha Akbar – Lagaan feel to it, both classics directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.
Veer directed by Anil Sharma and produced by Vijay Galani, this period drama also stars Sohail Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Lisa Lazarus and Jackie Shroff. The movie releases on January 22nd 2010.

Guys i know you all have been a little perturbed after hearing the 45cr dist. share requirement but remember you guys havent seen a sequence of our film yet ……i havent yet shown you guys HOW MASSIVE our film is…..if we ve spent 75 ***KING crores there has to be something special…..our sequences , the screenplay, the canvases are something you guys would never have seen in bollywood, we re up there with hollywood troy and braveheart…..
I think once our trailer is out , you guys are gonna be dying to get more glimpses…
we could have spent 45 odd and just made a film and recovered or made a profit…..but like i said we have a dream…a dream to not just recover our costs but to make history….to give an all time breathtaking cinematic experience to everyone….
WE WERE NEVER IN IT TO BREAK EVEN , WE WANTED TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT….

I can confirm Rajneeti will not come on 22nd jan if VEER does….and there’s no chance of a jan 29th release since its a bad date…..we re gonna confirm Jan 22nd soon from the looks of it….solo release…..1 week after KITES….but solo release is always great, besides we get the advantage of 26th january tuesday and simultaneosuly the monday evening onwrds shows also pick up….
p.s also considering if we should release on 21st jan thursday so that we get an additional day and safety since we are confident the report will be good ,leading to amazing friday onwards collections….giving us a very long weekend Thursday,friday,saturday,sunday,monday(evening onwards),tuesday…..

A. Wanted is the biggest hit of 2009 till date from all Hindi films followed by Love Aaj Kal although Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani may cross the business of Love Aaj Kal. 2012 is the biggest hit of all films released this year in the All India market.

De Dana Dhan had a good first week of around 33 crore nett. Multiplexes collections in metroes fell on Monday while other places started falling on Wednesday. Despite a solid first week it remains to be seen how well the film can go from here. It should emerge at least an Average fare but Hit status may be a step too far.

A. That second week will be very important in India. If the second week can give over 13 crore nett the film will have a chance. Overseas the chances look good.
