Barack Obama, the President of the United States of America, who is currently in India as part of his 3-day visit, has quoted Shahrukh Khan’s dialogue from one of his most iconic films ’Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.
Addressing students and activists at the Siri Fort Auditorium, Obama said “Senorita.. bade bade deshon mein.. you know what I mean…”
Obama was referring to the small issues that take place in big nations (like India and US), which the two nations have to overcome.

The US President also paid his tribute to Swami Vivekananda, saying “He (Vivekananda) began his address with My dear sisters and brothers and so I say to you, My dear Indian sisters and brothers.. Having thrown off colonialism, we begin our constitutions the same way,”We the People”. We are one of the few nations who have gone both to the Moon and Mars. I believe America can be India’s best partner. World’s largest and oldest democracies stand together.”
Obama and his wife Michelle were seated with Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi.

Obama is the perfect crowd pleaser. A terrific orator. He just knows when to say what. The last time when he came here, he was dancing with kids on a local folk song, and now he used the very popular dialogue from a celebrated classic.
For once, we should leave the fan-wars aside, and appreciate the fact that people all over the world are noticing Bollywood classics :)

I haven’t seen the visuals,but it great to see Bollywood films dialogue were quoted by Obama,Its from srk film and one of the popular dialogue which we usually also said sometime in our life.Great moment for srk fans as well as Bollywood too.

Yes dialogue was superb but there is nothing with this to acting.If someone quoted big B dialogue from Sholay that doesn’t mean Sanjeev Kumar did poor work in Aandhi in 1975.Even Dabamgg dialogue were more popular in India than srk mnik which released that time but srk got that award but Salman not.Just trying to come out from PK=Talaash 2, but fact is hny=talaash 2, while pk was 3i 2.
