Tubelight was decent on its second day at the box office, but the film failed to show the 5-10% growth that it needed to suggest a positive trend. The movie has collected 42 crore in 2 days at the domestic box office, which is far less than what was expected out of a Salman Khan Eid release.
The next 2-3 days will be crucial for Tubelight, if it has to end with a decent total, although the distributors recovering their investment and the film attaining ‘hit’ status doesn’t look like a possibility given the level of collections the first two days.
Neither the reports nor the film is as bad as the reviews that the film got, but outright negative reviews and general negativity in the media, seems to have done irrecoverable damage to the box office prospects of Tubelight.
IndicineLBO: We are going with Rs 146 crore as the final lifetime collections of Tubelight. If the collections do indeed finish at this level, Tubelight would be a box office flop and the lowest Eid grosser since 2011’s Bodyguard.

Tubelight is a crap movie therefore it will never get life again…its fate is now sealed…after monday it will fall flat on its face. Indicine chaaplusi led aritcles can’t save the ass of Salman now. Its proven fact that Salman wanted to show his acting skills but he can’t. He can only give those brainless entertainers which doesn’t require acting skills.

both chutiya khans of bollywood: Srgay and Salman stardom is exposed. It’s fact that Salman can’t do any offbeat subject as he can’t act. And hakla khan alias Srgay can do only one type of movies…in JHMS Srgay is looking very aged in comparision to ugly luking with polio kind legs of Anushka :)

Irony is that 0 sized wooden faced actor fans were spreading negativity against dangal 24×7 before release and despite non commercial and no big heroine it opened to 30 cr they compared it with their 0 size wooden actor’s commercial movie which had backing of top banner, top actress, well received songs and so on. But now fusslight has flopped terribly and opened to 20 cr they are still shamelessly barking against aamir and calling half actor. Still half is much better than 0. Lallu ka to existence hi nahi hai. 0 actor ke gawaar fans stay in your limit and celebrate 140 cr mega blockbuster of your 0 size actor.
